Sapphire Village: Sapphire Village is beautifully landscaped, with a wonderful view. In fact, it was once voted one of the top 10 views in the world by National Geographic. Sapphire Marina is directly below, with charter fishing, and many different charter day trips across the V.I.

great location,gorgeous beach,beautiful view

this is a basic simple condo room,not luxury.Had everything we needed dishes,essentials and a beach chair. the condo was over the pool which was really nice and the nice bar/restaurant had a great bartender and good food.condo was on the amazing ,beautiful sapphire beach (a short walk down the hill) .It is in the perfect location by red hook near tons of restaurants ,bars and a few shops.right down from ferry and $14 roundtrip per person will get you to st. john which i suggest doing .we went 2 days there it was so fun and go to Joes Rum Shack.4-6 happy hour $3 drinks.

taxis are about $8 for 2 people each way so very expensive.you are not able to really walk to red hook down the hill. I recommend Duffys restaurant.The condos balcony view is amazing .The pictures do not show you how beautiful the view is. you can eat breakfast and see 6-7 islands. chuck was very responsive at all my questions. i am a past travel agent and travel agency owner for 12 years and have been all over. i would recommend this condo to a budget/moderate traveller due to the rooms and furnishings not being updated . we felt very safe at this condo and we had a fabulous time and it was an amazing trip!

Good location. Basic accomodation. Great fun

The location is right on Sapphire Beach. A short walkfrom the building down to the pool/bar to the marina and right to the beach and a short walk to Smith Bay rd for the safari taxi. No need to go to the main gate for beach access. If you are into beaches, Sapphire Beach is right on the property. Linqvist Beach on Smith Bay is 15 minutes by foot. The road is small and without side walk so make sure you stay on grass as much as you can. You can also go to Coki beach by taking the Safari to Tutu Park mall and transfer to another Safari bus going back to Redhook. Safari runs only on one way. Linqvist beach is Magens Bay before it developed. They are building the parking lot and restroom right now.

On to the property, it's pretty basic with pots, pans. The sliding door is hard to close but you get use to it. WiFi is useless in living room but work great inside the bedroom closer to the window so if you need WiFi, bring your laptop in there. If you want some fresh fish, go down to the Marina at 12:30PM or 6:30PM and look for the Double Header fishing charter. The captain will fillet the fish they caught. Can't get any fresher than that. The owner is available if you need anything but we are having too much fun to bother any one. The Off The Grid BBQ is right at main gate. No need to go farther than that for good food.

Overall, great location, good price and good property. Definitely would come back.

Great time had by all

We loved the locatuon!!!!! Right above Red Hook and the St John ferry. Bar and three pools within 5 min walk . Place had everything we needed towels, plates , cups silverware. All resident and locals were more then helpful and friendly.

Stayed here for 2.5 months. Chuck was great. Good location close to beach. WiFi is spotty but who cares when you are in St. Thomas. Close to red hook and St John ferry.

Perfect little paradise

We stayed at Chuck's place for one week, and cannot be more pleased with everything about it. From location, a walk away to Red Hook, to the beautiful view i will surely miss mornings and evenings gazing out at St. John, it was a perfect home away from home. The booking experience was easy,- i touched base with Chuck right before we left to gather any necessary information as well as recommendations, and he was extremely helpful and honest. A+ in my book. (thanks chuck!) There was comfortable sleeping/living situation. A new pull out sofa which was wonderful as well as another sleeper sofa that we didnt use, and a full bedroom, very spacious. Again, i cannot stress the beauty of the scenic balcony! Of all the places ive been, using homeaway, this place in sapphire village was the greatest. St. Thomas was a beautiful oasis that was much needed for me, and this place was perfect for what we were going for: relaxation ( and a little night life, too). I do advise a car rental to actually hands on explore the island at your own leisure, however, there is the 'safari', aka the bus thatll take you where you need to go long as its on route. I felt safer in my own car, even if it was on the left side of the road, but we did opt in for the safari right to gain the 'cultural experience' as the islanders do it. Also because there is virtually no parking in Charolette Amalie where the shopping is. It was a great time overall, and i would highly HIGHLY recommend this place to any friends who might as where to stay over in STT. Safe travels to future travelers & take a second to enjoy the sunset on the balcony! Thanks for everything Chuck!

Better than it seems

We were looking for a place to stay last minute and found this condo available. Chuck was very accommodating and helpful in all aspects. This condo is spacious enough for 4 of us and has a nice view. The beach is a short distance away. The location is close to where we need to go. If you want to save some money, cook your own food. We had a wonderful time and will surely return in the future.
