A group of friends vacationed in Florida quite often and loved the relaxing atmosphere it offers. We decided to buy a home away from home. Southwest Florida is far enough away from the hustle and bustle and yet so close to so much. We stay at the house a few times a year and it is harder to leave each time. Whether you are looking to simply relax in the pool or go out and explore, there is so much to do...minutes from Ft Myers Beach and a short boat ride to Sanibel Island, there is something for everyone. We hope you enjoy our vacation home as much as we do. VIP Properties
There is boat available, waterfront (property is on a quiet canal). My favorite thing do do is wake up early and take a 10 minute bike ride to the pier, grab a coffee and watch the sunrise over the Caloosahatchee River while the baby dolphins make a morning appearance. We also enjoy taking a boat ride and exploring the nearby islands.
Spacious house. Used the heated pool almost every day. Close to restaurants and easy ride to Ft. Myers.
The property was very nice, clean and beautiful area. The owners, Chris and Nancy, were very nice and pleasant to deal with and returned my calls promptly. The kids loved being able to take the bicycles for a ride. The only "issue" that we had was the availability of the boat. We rented the house with the boat and found out later that the boat had been rented separately already and was not available. The folks at Paradise Boat Rentals made arrangements to have a boat available so it worked out okay although a bit inconvenient due to having to change boats mid week. Overall, the property is very nice and we had a great time. I would book this property again without hesitation when retuning to the area.
This was our eighth trip to the Cape and this was the best home we have ever stayed in! Very clean, No Bugs!!! The pool is only about five feet deep the entire length and is perfect for water arobics or just floating. The home was well equipted and is within close proximity area resturants and shopping. We will definately stay here again.
My family of 4 (2 adults/2 children) and our two small dogs stayed at this property for two weeks 6/25-7/9. The home is spacious, comfortable and is supplied with everything you need. The pool was clean, the screened in area was large and we even had a few meals outside. Televisions in every room made everyone happy and the fenced in yard was perfert for our pets. (They loved the lizards.) On July 4th we were able to view the large fireworks display from our back porch. WOW!!
We took the boat out a few times and saw dolphins every time. Coming from the river you can get into the Gulf which is emerald green, well worth the ride of about 30-45 minutes. We fished off the shores of Sanibel Island and caught a fish on almost every cast. BTW, Sanibel/Captiva is a great place to visit. I reccommend the Sanibel Cafe, Cheeburger-Cheeburger and RC Otters.
Due to some rainy days we ventured out to some local places. If you are the partying sort you can walk to what seems to be two local hot spots, The Tiki Hut and The Monkey Bar. There are also many local resturants and grocery stores close by. Check out TripAdvisor for a list of good places and be aware of tolls on some of the bridges. Since we have children we went to the Gulf Coast Town Center area and there you will find great shopping, food and movie theaters. Places like PF Chang and Pinchers Crab Shack were very good. We loved the Bass Pro Shops for fishing supplies and tips as well. Sun Splash Water Park in Cape Coral would have been a good option on a sunny day.
We also traveled down to Naples for a day and ate at the Boathouse on Naples Bay. There you can watch all the boats come in and out of the harbor. Beautiful!! This was a great vacation and we will be back.
our stay was delightful, the place was clean and convenient to restaurants and stores, owner very helpful in answering questions.
We could not have enjoyed our stay any more than we did at this beautiful home in Cape Coral. We vacationed here with my husband and two small children and our friends who also had two small children. The property is well stocked & very clean. It was nicely furnished with all the amenities you need. The rooms are spacious with plenty of sitting space in the multiple living areas. Lots of linens are provided and each bathroom was nicely appointed. You’ll enjoy the Master Suite for extra privacy and relaxation.
Situated in a nice neighborhood with lots of privacy, the home is just a short walk to the pier. Garage space was plentiful and the owner provided bikes for our convenience.
Our children lived in the pool 24/7. We were able to sit on the nice comfortable outdoor furniture while they swam. The loved to eat outside in the outdoor dining area also.
We also brought our own boat and were able to take the canal (which the house is located on) to all the beaches. We also drove to Ft. Myers Beach which was just a 20 minute ride away. We also enjoyed the two different Tiki Bars within walking distance for good food and a good time.
This property is nicely taken care of with wonderful updates. , you’ll find all the comfort and convenience you’re looking for in this beautiful, spacious, and super clean vacation home.
