The upstairs hall bath is shared by the bunkbed and queen bedrooms, and features a combination tub/shwoer, as well as a single-sink vanity and plenty of plush towels. The main floor features a powder room just off the home's entryway, with commode and sink. The lower level also features a powder room.

Each bedroom has a bedside table, reading lamps, a dresser for clothing storage, a ceiling fan and a luggage rack. Each of the three bedrooms, including the twin bunkbed room, feature hand-hewn log beds. Each bed has luxurious linens, extra pillows and a patchwork quilt. The twin bunkbed room has a built-in desk for kids to color, or for working on a laptop. There's plenty of room in the three bedrooms to sleep 6. The loft contains a plush pullout queen-sized bed, ready with the same luxurious linens as in the bedrooms. Sleep sofas for two additional people on the main and lower levels complete the sleeping arrangements for up to 10 people.

This is a beautiful, well appointed, well kept cabin, and above all very clean! We had such a wonderful time there! The location is perfect, an easy drive to all the best areas. This is by far the best cabin we have rented. As many reviews have stated, Jared is just great to work with, he makes staying there that much nicer.

We had a wonderful time here and would definitely visit again!

I want to thank Jared for a wonderful get-away! Beautiful home, wonderful views...Grandfather Mtn right out your window...perfect for my family of 5. We had a day skiing at Sugar and tubing at Hawk's Nest but we also enjoyed our family time in the cabin. Jared was just great to work with... there was a small issue that he delt with immediately and it did not interfere with our vacation. Would stay here again!

We saw the pictures and read the reviews and were excited to stay here. What we didn't expect was how much better it was in person. Upon entering the house our first reaction was just "wow!". It is huge, open, and everything you need for a home-away-from-home stay is there. The two-level wraparound porch with a great view offers a peaceful serenity and relaxation you just can't get in an urban setting. The lack of cell coverage was a bit troublesome at times so take your Vonage or Magic Jack with you - or just use Skype. The available WiFi is plenty for your family surfing needs.
Overall it was an amazing experience and if we get back anytime soon I will book this house again.

Great Place for Family Vacation

We came to celebrate my in-laws 40th wedding anniversary. We loved the beautiful view from the porch looking over a pond. The cabin is spacious and although there were 9 of us staying here together, there was plenty of room for us to do our own thing or to all be together in the main area for meals. Very sunny and comfortable. It was a blessing to stay at this cabin. I hope we can go again!

Beautiful place, beautiful views, wonderful time!

Came to Boone to get our daughter "installed" at Appalachian State. Staying here was the perfect launching pad for her - she loved the place, it helped her lose a little of her pre-move-in-day stress. Then my wife and I spent the rest of the weekend, reflecting and relaxing before heading home again.

The place is simply beautiful. Very comfy, welcoming, and immaculate. We had originally planned to tour the area and do some sightseeing - but instead, spent the weekend just enjoying the views from the deck, lounging in the hammock, and "hangin' out". We will definitely be trying to arrange our visits to ASU for when we can stay here!

The owner is a great guy to work with, and went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The only thing inaccurate in the listing is that the pictures just don't do the place justice.

Spend some time here - you won't be disappointed!
