Why the Owner Chose Bryce Canyon National Park: : My wife and I chose this location because of the large lots (average size 5 acres), few people, paved streets, and close proximity to all our favorite outdoor activities.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin: : Year Purchased: 2005 - My family enjoys escaping the busy life we have in the city by relaxing by the fire, riding ATVs, snowmobiling, fishing, roasting marshmallows, and hiking at nearby Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, and Cedar Breaks National Monument.

Chester & Kim Jacobs purchased this cabin in 2005
My wife and I chose this location because of the large lots (average size 5 acres), few people, paved streets, and close proximity to all our favorite outdoor activities.
We just wanted you to know how much we appreciated staying in your beautiful, clean cabin. We spent 3 days at Bryce and the location was perfect. Zion was a little more difficult to get to, but that's the nature of the drive there! Your home had everything we needed to enjoy a restful stay. My daughters loved the chipmunks and we kept the hummingbirds fed. We've stayed at other homes in different states in the past, and this was the nicest. Perfect layout and wonderfully quiet at night.
This illuminating high end lodge-like home is full of warmth and a treat to stay in. Our family of four ( twin teens) had a lovely time exploring both Bryce & Zion canyons all day long. At the end of the day the "lodge " provided the perfect place to made dinner, watch movies and rest up for the next day adventure! Hopefully, the "lodge" will be available for our next trip there.
There were 4 in our group. We stayed for a bit less than a week. We stayed here so that we could have a "home base" for a hiking trip. We hiked Bryce and Zion.....and this place was.....simply put, perfect. The pictures say a lot.....but let me say, the pictures don't say enough. The kitchen is well stocked with quality equipment. This place is very clean. When we opened the door we were greeted with a fresh fragrance and a nicely decorated Christmas tree. It took us a couple minutes to figure out how to work the TV.....but the owners have detailed instructions in a 3 ringed binder that helped us figure it out. The one thing I would like to share with others, that are thinking about renting this wonderful house.....be sure to stop and get supplies (food) before you get to the house.....there is only a very small general store nearby....thankfully the owners mentioned this to us before we showed up.
very nice home:
pro's: beautiful kitchen that was well equipped.
beautiful front and back decks.
Great location between Bryce and Zion parks.
nice tv/sound system.
cons: not a place for people not able to climb stairs, 2 flights to get into the house and 2 flights to get from the main floor to the upstairs where all the bedrooms are.
light switch's confusing.
upstairs bedrooms hard to keep cool, even with ceiling fans.
fan switchs confusing, some not working and in the case of the master bedroom, wall switch doesnt work for fan, had to stand on the bed to reach the small ceiling fan switch.
recent gravel that was put down on driveway is too loose, making for slippery drive up a steep driveway and is allready wash boarding.
need a sign at the turn into the property with the house number, as the turn doesnt look like a road leading to a home as the house is not visible from the turn.
overall a very good stay, just some thoughts to make it an even better stay.
Everything was Perfect! We stayed for 6 night with 2 other couples. We had enough room and enjoyed our dinners cooking together in the well equipped kitchen. We did everyday a nice day trip to Zion NP, Bryce Canyon.....
We had a great time and get together with our friends from Germany and would rent this place anytime again.
The cabin is in a great location for Zion and Bryce canyon visits, attention to details and great construction quality make it very comfy, private, clean and quiet with a nice fireplace for those winter evenings after long day hikes. The owner and care taker were very helpful and responsive to our requests. Highly recommended.
This cabin has everything you could ever want or need. Every inch of it is so beautifully decorated yet it is so inviting and comfortable that you may never want to leave. The owners are very attentive to your needs as a vacationer and are more than helpful. If you rent this lovely place give yourself a little down time to enjoy all that it has to offer. Thanks again Jacobs family!
