This is a beautiful, Non-Smoking, log cabin home on an acre of land, situated on a rushing creek with several waterfalls right outside the door. The lot is wooded and sits at about 4000 feet elevation. It feels very private, yet is only five minutes from the main road.
There is a large covered porch running the length of the cabin overlooking the creek, with a six-person hot tub on one end. In the yard is a picnic table and steps down to the creek. The furniture is plush and comfortable, and with a woodburning fireplace and satellite television, there isn't a more cozy place.
You'll be only fifteen minutes from the quaint town of Maggie Valley, where there are several wonderful restaurants and lots of craft and gift shops, as well as gorgeous mountain views. Going the opposite direction takes you into Cherokee in about ten minutes, with gambling casinos and tourist attractions, or you can take a drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway. In 20 minutes you can be on Main Street in Waynesville, with restaurants and shopping galore. Asheville is just 45 minutes away, and Gatlinburg, Tennessee only an hour or so.
But if you are like us, you won't want to leave the cabin! Everyone falls in love with the place. There isn't a greater get-away than the Great Smoky Mountains, and this is the perfect spot to enjoy them!

We stayed at your cabin 3 years ago and couldn't wait to come back. The relaxing atmosphere of the deck and stream -- just the thing to get back to nature. Maggie Valley is a great base to go to other places (plus the kids love Maggie Valley Restaurant!). Thank you for sharing your home away from home with us!
Stayed at the cabin Christmas week and had a wonderful time. The cabin is very nice with a creek next to it, it is so relaxing to sit in the hot tub and listen to the water. We also had a white Christmas as it snowed that morning. Location is very easy too get to and very quiet. Will be back next year.
Had a wonderful girl's weekend at this cabin. Everything was as stated, very clean and neat. The porch was very relaxing with a nice view of the stream. It was nice to have wifi to stay connected. The fireplace and hot tub were both very enjoyable. It was easy to find and close to Maggie Valley and Cherokee. The owner is very pleasant and easy to work with. I hope to make this a yearly event at this cabin.........a special place indeed!
This cabin is a wonderful retreat and a great place to relax. Sitting on the porch listening to the stream is fantastic. The cabin is very well maintained and we enjoyed being able to stay connected with home via the WiFi. The kitchen has everything needed for great meals, and the rooms were comfortable. The hot tub on the porch was a great place to spend the evening. The cabin is close to Maggie Valley shops and restaurants. Joey's Pancakes are the best ever!
We loved the lay-out of this cabin. The views were spectacular. And the rushing creek out front was relaxing and enjoyable to hear while warming in the jacuzzi on a cold winter day. Only a 10 minute drive to the slopes and 5 minutes to town. Owner is very friendly and easy to work with. Our family loved this cabin and it's location! It was a perfect holiday vacation with our family. We would love to come back in Spring/Summer or Fall to experience a different season. And if we ever do another holiday/ski vacation, it will be here!
Thanks for sharing your home with us. We had a wonderful time even though it seemed like it was monsoon season. Everything was just like home. The grandchildren both had a good time playing inside. Every time we left the four year old wanted to go back to his cabin. Our daughter had an adventure crossing the creek during a flood warning. All in all we had a great time.
We spent Christmas at the Creekside Cabin. The stay was fabulous. It was decorated for the holiday and felt so cozy, yet very spacious. Of the 3 visits to mountain cabins last year, This was by far the best. The sound of the creek rushing while in the hot tub was so relaxing. The mountains around you were full of things to discover. Take an ATV if you visit, lots to explore. Maggie Valley itself is quaint, small. Really not a lot to do but ski and tube. But just 15 min either way of you there is Ashville and Cherokee, and there is always something going on there..
The owners really looked out for all of the needs for their visitors. Everything was provided except the food. They even left a welcome basket out for us. The property and the home are fantastic. The pictures don't do it justice. We have already put in for our next stay at this cabin. The only thing that we will consider next time is to be more aware and prepared during winter month visits.. The weather is very unpredictable, which makes the road conditions also predictable. Enjoy your stay. We did.
