'THE BEACH RETREAT!' Awaken each morning to spectacular gulf views and end your day with breathtaking sunsets in this true beachfront condominium. Located on a high bluff directly over sugar white sands, the Beach Retreat offers fabulous unobstructed, panoramic views of the Gulf from the living area, dining area, kitchen, and master bedroom.

The Beach Retreat is on the second floor of a gated, four story condominium. It is private, small and quiet, and lives up to its name – Tranquillity on the Beach. The unit's three king suites will comfortably accommodate a family of six. But it is also perfect for three couples traveling together or as a romantic and extra spacious getaway for two.

This luxury condominium is beautifully decorated in casual and elegant furnishings. Soft hues of the Gulf’s colors --greens, blues and cream --set a tranquil mood in the living areas. Quality furnishings include custom made down-filled chairs and sofa, Belgian linen slip-covers, original water color art in the living area, and teak wood furniture on the balcony. The main entertainment center is equipped with HDTV, DRV, DVD, VCR, stereo and high speed WiFi access.

The master suite offers awesome views and sounds of the Gulf and opens to the balcony. The muted blues and crisp whites in the master reflect its serene environment. The upholstered chaise in the bedroom window offers a comfortable, quiet reading spot with panoramic views. The large master bath features a jacuzzi tub, a large separate shower, and his and her sinks. Each of the three bedrooms have a king size bed, private bath, television and a large upholstered chair. In addition the condo includes a portable crib, Pack n Play, and high chair for young families.

Preparing a meal for a crowd is easy in the gourmet kitchen fully equipped with granite countertops, glass tile backsplashes and stainless steel appliances. Prepare a quick meal on one of the pool side gas grills. Enjoy dining on the gulf front balcony or let the sounds of the surf lull you into a nap in the teak steamer chaises. Take a dip in the heated pool, which is located directly on the Gulf and is visible from the balcony just to the east.

There is plenty to do as well! Relax on the beach or play golf at the neighboring Camp Creek golf course designed by Tom Fazio or play tennis or work out at the nearby Rosemary Beach Racquet Club. Jog, walk or bike along the paved path which begins at your front door and continues for 20 miles along Scenic Highway 30A. Enjoy the many casual and fine restaurants in the area or shop the charming local boutiques in nearby Seaside or Rosemary Beach.

About The Owner

I am a college professor who loves to spend breaks at the beach. My husband's family is from Pensacola so he has been on this beautiful crystal clear gulf for 62 years. I have only been coming for the 40 years we have been married.

The Owner purchased this condo in 2004
Why The Owner chose Rosemary Beach

We bought our property on C30A because of the building restrictions in Walton County - nothing over 4 stories high. Our building only has 20 units of which 15 are not rented and we are across the street from the Tom Fazio golf course. We are away from the densely populated areas of Seaside and Rosemary Beach but we are close enough to enjoy their many amenities. And now there is the new airport only 20 minutes away.

What makes this condo unique

We looked for years for a unit in which we would have a true gulf front MASTER BEDROOM as well as dining and living areas. A few condos have a door to the balcony from the master but no view, most have nothing. Our floor plan with wall width window is rare. This unique floor plan also provides 170 degree views of the Gulf. We can see the sun rise and set in most months. There are 19 other units, only 5 that are rented, and the building design is as if there are no neighbors. We love to open our doors and windows to the Gulf especially at night. We use the balcony extensively. We love to read and watch the Gulf so we planned the use of every window carefully.

It is so good to be back on 30-A and here in Tranquility 220. It took us years (fly obligations). Your place was so warm & welcoming as I remember with its soft colors & subtle taste (and LOVE the hooks).
Weather was gorgeous, 1st cool spell. The Bike trail beckons -- Big Daddy delivers -- the Architecture of restaurant "V" id s work of art. Food quite good; New Orleans chef. Summer kitchen in Rosemary Beach - delicious, rode bikes there.
Thanks for trusting your place to strangers and thus sharing. We love being here.

We enjoyed the setting in your beautiful condo. You have a very comfortable, lovely place. We loved falling asleep to the sount of the ocean in the Master Suite. The beds were all comfortable and your decor is perfect. George's and Thirty-A were our favorite places to eat. We could have used a few more bath cloths and your vacuum cleaner didn't work very well. The master bedroom (blue suite) was pretty warm. Thank you for a lovely stay.
