Welcome to Casa LaHa,
Casa LaHa was built in 2008, a modern contemporary style house with a large domed palapa (straw thatched roof) over the dining and living room area, the house comprises of 5 bedrooms all with en suite bathrooms and ample terraces. Casa LaHa has two floors, the view of the Caribbean sunrise and jungle sunset from the first floor of the house is incredible.
You can walk out onto the white sand beach and swim in the turquoise crystalline waters or just sit under the shade of the palm trees or in the hammocks, drinking from a fresh coconut. we also have a swimming pool and a Japanese style hot tub. A deck area in front of the house can be used for meals and drinks and relaxing on the sun loungers or hammocks, a barbecue is available and fish and crayfish can be bought from the local fisherman passing the house on their way home.
a chef can be supplied to prepare lunch or dinner with 24 hours notice and a small extra charge.
A maid cleans the house daily and clothes can be washed by the local laundry for a small charge (including express service).
There is modern kitchen with an ecofriendly dishwasher and there is a barbecue available for use.
Yoga teachers and Masseurs are available with notice to come to Casa LaHa and give individual or group courses.
We are just 1.5 kilometers from the nature reserve/ biosphere of Sian Ka'an, where you can take a tour and see crocodiles ,dolphins and turtles, pink spoonbills, sea hawks, manta rays, vultures, to name but a few of the many different types of flora and fauna. last week right in front of the house we had a nest of turtles erupt and run for the sea (OCT 2011).
There are many cenotes (sink holes) in the area and these are not to be missed, Tulum ruins are 10 mins away and Coba ruins with its 2 pyramids just 40 mins, Chichen Itsa is 3 hours and Valladolid a colonial city is 1 hour. Many sports are practiced in the area windsurfing, kitesurfing scuba diving, snorkeling long boarding, spelunking (cave diving)
