Peaceful and private beautifully decorated 3 bed, 2 bath 1500 square foot home on a fresh water canal. Brand new furnishings as of July 2010. Newly painted with ceramic tile floors throughout. Large heated pool and hot tub. Private lanai with patio set, lounge chairs, dining area, and BBQ grill all overlooking the canal. Home has open concept kitchen, dining room, and master bedroom have pocket sliders opening up onto lanai overlooking canal. 50 inch HD flat screen TV and DVD player in the living. Kitchen has new French door refrigerator and new smooth top stove. All the kitchen gadgets you need (blender, coffee pot, toaster, etc.). The master bedroom has a king size bed, flat screen 42'' TV and a walk in shower with his and her sinks. The other 2 bedrooms have queen size beds.

40 minutes to the spring training facility for the Boston Red Sox and the Minnesota Twins.

Nearest Airport : Fort Myers at 30 Miles

Go to the beach in Cape Coral or tour the area and visit Sanibel island or the beautiful beach at Fort Myers. Minutes from the fun and artistic town of Matlache. 40 minutes to the spring training facility for the Boston Red Sox and the Minnesota Twins.

Other Activities: Waterfront, not Lake/Oceanfront. Ask for details

Peace, privacy and relaxation!

We had a wonderful time at 'Slice of Heaven' and it was everything we wanted in a vacation home. The home is beautifully decorated and stocked with all the amenities/items you could ask for. We spent many hours hanging out in the pool and lanai area, just enjoying the view. We brought our own kayaks and the dock provided the perfect place to launch them and explore up and down the canals. The house is quiet, private and dog friendly, which is exactly what we were looking for in our getaway. We plan to return again soon!

Slice of Heaven

Spent the last part of March at "The Slice". From the moment we pulled in the driveway we felt at home. It was like we had been here before.
Mike and Judy make you feel like family and are just a phone call away.
The pool and lanai ar spectacular. The couches and beds are so comfortable its hard not to just lay around all day.
Every amenity is here and our kids can't wait to come back!
The owners have done a great job and its well worth the stay as the owners could charge quite a bit more. We have stayed elsewhere in the CC area and paid more for allot less.

Private Paradise

Dear Judy & Mike,
Thank you for sharing your "Private Paradise", with my family.
This was our first trip away from home and family at Christmas and your home made us feel at home. You provided everything we needed, from the porta crib to toys for our baby. Which saved us allot on extra baggage fees,(love the pool safety fence!) To the comfy beds for the rest of us (my husband got a new one when we got home!). The layout is wonderfull, with almost every room overlooking the pool and canal!
We truly loved the privacy of the pool, lanai and dock. It felt like our own little tropical island!

We had a wonderful vacation in January at this rental property. The home was spotless, and very inviting. The outdoor pool area was so relaxing and scenery was spectacular. We were in the pool and hot tub every day.. We especially liked the fact that the area was quiet and peaceful with not much traffic, but excellent shopping and restaurants. We enjoyed Mel's Diner, and the Sandy Hook Fish and Rib Shack, and the soup at The Cafe beside Bealls Florida on Del Prado was outstanding.
Fort Myers is just across the river, and offers a ton of interesting shopping and restaurant choices.
Definitely we would recommend this rental to our family and friends.

Peaceful Paradise

We have rented in the Cape Coral / Fort Myers area several times before, but we never wrote a review before. Our experience from the first inquiry to the owner of this beautiful home till the end was exceptional. The owner was a pleasure to deal with and the house was very clean and beautiful. This was exactly what we were looking for a relaxing vacation. The pool had the perfect temperature for us, very comfortable. The home is in a very nice and peaceful neighborhood, and very convenient to shopping, restaurants and area attractions.
We would love to be back and we will highly recommend this house to our friends. Thanks again for renting your great home to us.
