As both Tom and I travel for much of the time, and Tom is based in Washington DC, we would like to extend our hospitality and warmth to welcome you to stay at our home.

Horse farms surround the area and the pastoral views and walks around the reservoir will stir your thoughts and creativity. Great restaurants and seafood, enjoy some Maryland Crab Cakes. Tour the Baltimore Zoo,Museums, Walters Art Gallery, as well as theatres.

Home Away From Home

This was our first experience with “HomeAway,” and it was an ideal introduction to this type of vacation accommodation. The separate apartment was totally private and completely furnished, allowing us to save travel money by preparing our own meals, as well as doing our laundry. Barbara and Tom were warm and wonderful hosts, and generously provided everything that we needed to feel totally comfortable and at home. Aside from all of the necessities, Barbara also left fresh Spring flowers, an unexpected and lovely grace note.

Our hosts were also completely supportive in providing us information about how to take the commuter train into Washington, DC. It was very nice to “live” in the rolling hills of MD, and yet have easy access to the city. It was a very convenient base for taking other daytrips to Annapolis, MD as well as to Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA.

We feel as if we have made new friends in MD, and we definitely would plan to stay here again if our travels brought us back to this area.

Home away from home

I prefer not to stay at hotels and found this unit on this site. I was so pleased with my stay! I will definately come again if I am in the area. It was clean and cozy and had a private entrance. The owners were friendly and accomodating and really made me feel at home. This was a quiet setting with a beautiful tree lined yard. If you are looking for a relaxing stay, this is the place for you!

Enjoy the peaceful country

We stayed there for (3) weeks while working in the area. The owners were very friendly and attentive to our needs. The apartment is close enough to stores and restaurants yet located in a beautiful country area.
