Secluded Beach Front Home on East Bay

Our home has a large private master bedroom with lake views and private bath. The entire home is furnished with classic natural wood furniture providing a cozy up-north feeling. The second bedroom has queen bed with bath just outside the door. The kitchen was rebuild five years ago with new cabinets, appliances and flooring. The kitchen, master, great room and deck all share panoramic views of the Lake and Bay. The wrap around deck provides access to both the front and lake side of the house and is furnished with comfortable chairs and loveseat for relaxing nights watching Michigan sunsets across the Lake.

Traverse City (Cherry Capital of the World) has become one of the most visited summer locations in the Upper Midwest. The National Cherry Festival is held at the beginning of July each year and provides a multitude of fun activities. In even calendar years, the Blue Angels perform spectacular air shows at the base of West Bay on July 4th as large crowds gather on beaches and decks to take in the acrobatic shows. Other activities nearby include boating, hiking, fishing and of course shopping on Front Street in Traverse City or in the quaint towns of Elk Rapis or Alden; Clinch Park Zoo, Traverse City Pie Company, Interlochen Music Festival, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Charlevoix, Petosky and Harbor Springs are also fun towns to visit. If you like golf, you may never leave. With with over 100 courses within an hours drive from our home, you can play some of Michigan's best. The Bear and Wolverine are found at Grand Traverse Resort only 15 minutes away, Ag-a-ming boasts two great courses within five minutes of our home, and for the golf purist, access to the private Kingsley Club ranked in the top 50 modern courses in America can be played with a special reservation via our membership - inquire upon making a reservation. At Boyne Mountain and Highlands you can find nine courses; Forest Dunes, an hour away, is the top rated public facility in the state.

Like eating and picking berries? Between Elk Rapids and Traverse City are miles of cherry trees, fresh-fruit stands and almost any berry you could ever want to pick, eat or cook. Stop by any roadside stand and buy a freshly made pie, or stop in at the pick-your-own places, and let the kids pick the cherries right off the tree - adults too!

Do you like wine? On Old Mission Pennisula you can find several vineyards and that have tours and wine tasting dinners. A romantic evening enjoying jazz music, sipping wine and watching a Michigan sunset will leave a lasting memory. I hope you enjoy our piece of paradise!
