CREEK SIDE HOUSE

I stayed at the Creekside house for three nights with my father and my pre-school son during a family reunion in Homosassa. In the past we've stayed at one of the local motels or at a chain hotel in Crystal River. This year I wanted to find something clean and comfortable, that was close to Homosassa. With a young child who still needs some quiet time during the afternoon, I thought a rental would be ideal. I also liked the idea of not having to worry about hotel neighbors if my son wanted to run around or squeal as kids are prone to do. I was thrilled to find Rose and Ron's Creekside house. It was perfect!

The house was immaculate and beautifully decorated, with plenty of room. It is nestled in a quiet community and the house actually has no immediate neighbors next to or behind it. Getting to the house requires driving a narrow curving road, but that is part of the experience. You really feel like you are getting away from it all...

Ron and Rose provided lots of great advice and even brought indoor and outdoor toys over for my son to play with. We didn't have time to take advantage of them, but they also had kayaks available for use. The property is very close to the Wildlife Park, which was a bonus for us since that was one of my son's favorite parts of the trip.

The cost of renting the house was less than getting two hotel rooms for the same amount of time and was ten times nicer. I almost hesitated to tell my relatives about it, because I knew I'd have to compete with them the next time we come down to visit!

February and March, 2013, was our third year of staying at this wonderful rental property. We love the quietness of the neighborhood. The few neighbors in this “end of the road” property are extremely friendly. Our one-year Cairn Terrier dog ran off on a rather cool afternoon. The entire neighborhood was out looking for her. Some were on bikes, some on golf carts, some in their vehicles, some by foot. It was a true community event…helping out us “strangers”. Fortunately we found her six hours after she began her adventure. Capt. Ron and Rose are the nicest rental property owners you will ever meet. They are quick to assist, answer questions and do whatever is necessary to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The house is really nice and well equipped. We especially like the ability to park all of our “toys” (boat, trike, vehicle) undercover. We love this property so much we have already booked it for the 2014 “snowbird” season. You won’t go wrong renting this property. If we could give the property ten stars we would do so.

“Tranquility” is a word that comes to mind when describing our one month stay at Creek Side. Sounds of the city are absent there. The sounds of birds and the wind were a welcome relief from the city noise and stars shine brightly in the night sky. The owners (Ron & Rose) have diligently taken the time to insure that the property inside and out compliments the surrounding landscape. The interior of the house exceeded our expectations. Creek side provided more than enough space and is tastefully decorated throughout. A fireplace accentuates the living room and was truly enjoyable on those chilly evenings. There was a Gas Grill on the patio and a fire pit in the yard for evening bonfires. Bicycles and kayaks are provided by the owners for the guest’s use, we wanted for nothing. Ron and Rose were warm and hospitable, even extending an invitation to a family gathering; we truly felt like family. We enjoyed the Air Boat site seeing ride and fell deeply in love with this area. We travel to this area on the advice of a friend and was not disappointed. We loved the people and area so much we have decided to purchase property. Our days spent at Creek Side ended to quickly, but, we will remember them for the rest of our days. Ron and Rose it was our pleasure to rent Creek Side for the month and we will forever consider you both dear friends.
