Waverly Green was constructed in 1946 and exhibits the attributes of the time: original double-hung picture frame windows, classic molding, period detailing, warm hardwoods and ceramic tile flooring. All of the main systems, like plumbing and air conditioning, have been upgraded to today’s standards.
With the charm and character of the period comes the personality of an older home: creaking floors and the patina of timeworn wood and painted surfaces. We believe that this charm adds to the livability of the space and is not considered to be problematic. Adding to the effect are antiques and art objects from around the world. If you like your curtains to match the bedspread, you might want to stay in a guestroom at one of the many local commercial hotels. Waverly Green is a self catering unit. Expendables like paper plates, paper towels and bath products are not provided unless left behind by another party. Save a tree and enjoy your stay.

My wife and I just spent two months at The Standard at Waverly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will not hesitate to return for our next trip to the Pasadena area. The unit is well furnished, in excellent condition and very clean and comfortable. It's in an ideal location, close to Old Town Pasadena as well as to several freeways making trips around the LA area convenient. The owners are great people and very responsive to any request.
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Waverly Green in December. The condo is uniquely decorated, comfortable, cozy and stocked with everything you would ever need! It is located in a lovely area of Pasadena. This will definitely be our "go to" place in Pasadena. Two more trips are in the planning stages and I am hopeful that the unit will be available for us. John made us feel very much at home. A most accommodating and hospitable owner.
Recently spent 10 days at Waverly Green visiting family in So. Pas. The apartment was wonderful-clean, quiet, tastefully decorated and well stocked. The back yard/patio area was a delightful place for quiet reading and/or socializing. Location was ideal as one could walk to Old Town in Pasadena with it's museum, restaurants and retail stores. John was very pleasant but little to do as there were no problems.
Looking forward to visiting again next year.
I really enjoyed my stay at Waverly Green. The condo was beautifully decorated, clean, bright and cheerful. I especially enjoyed the well-manicured back yard. This is my second stay at Waverly Green and I would highly recommend it. John was very helpful in answering questions. We had no complaints-just a beautiful and restful stay.
Welcoming home. Very clean with eclectic tasteful decor, all conveniences, beautiful gardens and lovely hosts. Great location. Walk to Ralph's and Norton Simon museum.
