4 bedroom , 1 bath, sleeps 8 plus an outdoor shower

The house is a perfect location with direct beach access a minute away. The house was completely remodeled a year ago and is clean and bright. It has a open family room, dining room and kitchen area with a flat screen TV. There is a large yard and an outdoor shower.

The ocean has plenty of sea treasures to find on daily walks, small waves at low tide to play in and plenty of sand to make sand castles with or to just relax. The community has a great family appeal with plenty of kids at the beach and people who return to this area year after year. Also, in the Saco area are 2 amusements parks, 2 water parks and a great state park to ride bikes. Saco/Ferry Beach is 20 minutes from Portland which has the best restaurants in Maine - it was name by Bon Appetit as the 'Foodiest Small Town in America. ' Saco is also close to Kennebunkport, Freeport (home of LL Bean) and Kittery (great outlet shopping).

Looking for 2 houses together ?: We own two houses in ferry beach. The house listed above (listing #328275 - 6 Eagle Ave) and 5 Island View (listing # 271955). The houses are on different streets but back up to each other and share a back yards. There is a path that connects the houses. It is perfect for family renunions or friends traveling together.

Both houses are 4 bedrooms.

Yes, we indeed enjoyed our stay at your home. Clean, clear, roomy, well organized and stuffed! We were with our sons, their spouse and two grandchildren. Everyone had its own quiet area whereas a large common area could receive us all. We even could have dinner one night with an additional couple.

The availability of all those toys for the kids, the chairs and the buggy to carry our things onto the beach made us feel at home. The beach is just enough crowded... I like to see and hear people, and the kids could play with other kids; I would feel isolated on a beach like the more exclusive Biddeford pool area.

The proximity to the beach is great advantage. Even if we have to walk in the street for some three hundred feet (?), the traffic is minimal and drivers are careful. The neighbourhood is quiet.
