TIMBER FRAME GUEST HOME

East Glacier Park House Rental Photos and Description

House, 2 Bedrooms, 1.5 Baths, (Sleeps 4)

Our Timber Frame Guest home is beautifully hand crafted from Alaska Sitka Spruce wood. It is completely furnished for your comfort with many custom made pieces of furniture - bedroom sets, doors, kitchen cabinets, just to name a few. It is two stories with bedrooms on lower level and living space on upper floor to take advantage of some of Glacier Park peak views and the beauty of the timber frame construction. There is a covered deck off of the living room that has a large gas grill, table and chairs. There is a lower deck off of the main bedroom to relax on too. The main bath is large, outfitted with double sink vanity, extra large soaking tub - no jets, and separate shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with large gas stove, large refrigerator, small island, and lots of counter space. Living room has a gas fireplace, TV (no cable but DVD player) and stereo (no radio reception but CD player), There is a separate laundry room with new large washer and dryer and utility sink for your use during your stay.

The home is located in a very quiet area of town on the edge of an aspen grove and field of wild flowers. It is one block off the main road through town and is easy walking distance to a variety of services and shops - restaurants, antiques, art galleries, golf, horseback riding, groceries, car rentals, AmTrak train station ( summer season only), and shuttle services to all hiking trails and lodges within Glacier National Park.

The Guest Home shares a very large yard with our other VRBO rental property listing #169524 making it an ideal place to vacation together with larger groups or multiple families. There are a variety of yard games to enjoy - badminton, volleyball, croquet, etc, and 3 townie type single speed bicycles to cruise around town on.

We are in a great location to come and explore the beauty and wonder of Glacier National Park with the ease, comforts, and services of a small town outside your front door.

FANTASTIC HOME!

  • 5 of 5
From the magnificent construction, to the art work and comfortable furnishings you cannot go wrong with this lovely rental. Everything you need and more at your fingertips. Stupendous scenery, good restaurants and a historical lodge all within walking distance. Driving to Many Glacier and Two Medicine is a snap and route 49 is not to be missed for more great scenery. If we ever pass this way again, we hope that this wonderful rental is available.

PERFECT HOMESTAY!

  • 5 of 5
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this clean, pretty, and well-appointed home. We were thrilled to see our first black bear in the backyard within hours of our arrival :)

Owner's Response: So glad you enjoyed the home for your few days in Glacier. The black bear in the back yard is unusual but given the harsh winter and your early stay in the season, they are never far away!
Thank you and hope you will return again to explore more of the park!

WONDERFUL HOME, PEACEFUL LOCATION

  • 5 of 5
This house was great! We will be back! - fully stocked kitchen w spices, oils, and all the essentials; gas stove and BBQ were perfect for our "at home" meals; great beds, roomy main level bathroom w shower and big soaking tub; great washer and dryer on the main level; tons of storage space. Wonderful west facing back deck and back yard overlooking the aspen trees, peek-a-boo views of the meadow beyond, and the Rocky Mts of Glacier Park above the trees. Easy walk or bike to restaurants and stores. Short 15-20 min drive to Two Medicine Lake area of Glacier Park where we kayaked and hiked each day. I'd recommend this home to anyone wanting to stay on the east side of Glacier Park, so much more for your money than the park lodge.

GLACIER HOME

  • 5 of 5
My husband and I and another couple spent a week in this attractive, roomy, and extremely well-stocked home. It was within walking distance to East Glacier lodge, restaurants, etc. The caretaker was friendly, attentive, and helpful. I would unequivocally recommend this home as a base for all that Glacier Park and the surrounding area have to offer.

FAMILY ADVENTURE

  • 5 of 5
Our family had a wonderful stay in East Glacier. The home is great, and the area is fabulous! So much outdoor adventure right at your fingertips! Close drive to Many Glacier area, which is breathtaking, and not too far to Waterton, Alberta, also stunning. Overall a wonderful experience - just too short!
