Townhome, 2 Bedrooms, 2.5 Baths, (Sleeps 6-7)

Come discover this hidden gem on 30-A. This is our new home away from home that we want to share with YOU! Once you experience the quiet, white beaches and the convenient location of this townhouse, you will find yourself wanting to come back! We are located in Santa Rosa Beach, almost dead center between Destin and Panama City & only 5 miles from Seaside and WaterColor DIRECTLY ON 30-A. There are no high rises and mostly private homes, which provides you with a pleasant beach experience every visit. After your day at the beach you can relax in one of the two pools (one of which is heated) or hot tubs, or relax on one of the two balconies in the townhouse. Or you may want to play tennis or use the sand volleyball court or play golf at a nearby course. Great food is close by at GulfPlace at the Smiling Fish, or watch the sunset from Bud & Alleys in Seaside, OR watch the sunset from your own master suite balcony. For great shopping, the Sandestin Factory Outlets are only 8 miles away. There is a paved biking/walking path that spans the entire length of 30-A...you can bike to Seaside and enjoy a free outdoor summer concert! Goatfeathers across the street has fresh seafood that they will steam for you to bring home or take to the beach! There are just so many options!

We are a corner unit, therefore, you will have more windows and only one neighbor. The 1400 square feet of living area sleeps 6 people. We have just furnished it with a king bed in the master and 2 double beds in the guest room. The master has vaulted ceilings, a garden tub, a separate shower and his & her vanities. The guest room has its own bath/shower. TVs in every room. The spacious kitchen is equipped with a coffee maker, a toaster, a blender, and all other necessities for cooking. Overall, plenty of room for relaxing, so come and be a beach bum on one of the most beautiful beaches in the nation!

Why The Owner chose Dune Allen Beach

For years we have been vacationing at Seaside, WaterColor, Grayton Beach, & Destin. This year we decided to invest in a piece of what we consider to be "heaven". Now our children will have the same memories we did, spending every chance we have escaping to relax at the beach.

We just got back from staying at the Happy Ours townhouse and we had a wonderful time. We didn't want to leave. The townhome was clean, very roomy and was decorated very nicely. We realized that the owners do stay here too. They really do mean "Share their home"..... There are restuarants and a few small shops within walking distance. There is also a place to rent bicycles a short walk away. I thought the walk to the beach would be inconvenient but it is a very short walk. Less than a block. We enjoyed the walk to the beach so much that a couple of times we walked past the street entrance because we were gabbing and didn't realize we had passed it. We did hop in the car a few times and drove down the coast in both directions. If you get a chance to do this I would recommend it. You get to see the different beaches and communities but when you get back to Happy Ours you realize that you picked the best area to stay. Quiet, low key, convenient and relaxing. This was just what we needed. A tropical paradise. Oh, also if you like pizza then Fat Daddy's has the best veggie pizza I've ever had and Rum Runners at Village of Baytown Wharf was very good too. We look forward to coming back again sometime. -Thank you Sarah and Jeff for sharing your home with us.

I stayed here last year in June and had a wonderful experience. The beds were awesomely comfortable and i got fabulous sleep! I love the artwork and everything was really clean and tidy. The owners are very friendly and helpful and made it all very easy. They are a dream to work with! I would love to be able to stay here again.

Great location, awesome beach, close to Seaside, and beautifully decorated. The owners are awesome, she is an artist and has done an incredible job. Plenty of great local shops and restaurants right there. Cafe Tango was one of our favorites, a must try.

Wonderful Beach Retreat!!

Recently rented this unit and had a wonderful time! The owners provided just about everything that we needed and the pictures exactly represented the unit. Beds were great, layout for a family was perfect, pool is right outside the front unit steps with the tennis court right out the back of the unit. Beach was about a block and a half and the little town is just perfect to walk to with little restaurants and bike rental less than a quarter mile away. Seaside is a 15 minute drive down the road for more sight-seeing, activities and restaurants! Our favorite, though, was the horse-back trail riding stables on 393...Arnetts Gulfside Trail Rides. The family was wonderful, treated the horses and US very well making sure those that had ridden before AND the newbees all had an enjoyable time. The sand on the beach was great! The little town of Santa Rosa Beach was peaceful, quiet and friendly...I felt comfortable with my younger teenagers walking to the beach by themselves. The owners immediately responded to questions and the transaction through PayPal went well. This end unit was perfect (there were little kids in the unit next to ours and we never heard them) and we'll absolutely go back if we're able! ENJOY!
