This is a beautiful one bedroom condo on the first floor of Sunstone. A property located right above Little Eagle Lodge. You literally walk out the back door, grab your stuff from the locker room, and the back gate is steps away. You strap on your gear and ski down to the lift where you can purchase tickets. Of course we recommend purchasing them before hand so that you can ski right on to the lift itself. It is perfect for couples or a small family of three or four. It is beautifully furnished and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook a wonderful dinner on those snowy nights. Of course, if you choose to go out, the covered parking makes it a breeze, since you will not need to be digging your car out from a snow bank.

The unit has a 42 inch HD flat screen, a Wii game system, and a small selection of board games for a fun family night and a gas fireplace perfect for a romantic night for two. The bathroom has a huge tub ideal for a long soak after a hard day on the slopes.

Located a very short walk down the hallway from the condo is the Great Room, which is a common area for the residents of the Sunstone property. It is beautifully furnished, with an enormous fireplace and a view that will literally take your breath away. It is perfect for some family fun time or cozying up on one of the comfortable oversized chairs

About The Owner

I am a retired school teacher and life long skier. My daughter is also a teacher and was a member of the USC ski team. I have two young grandchildren that I hope will enjoy coming up to Mammoth and learning to ski as they grow up.

The Owner purchased this condo in 2009
Why The Owner chose Mammoth Lakes

After over 30 years of driving to Mammoth from my home in Southern California, I decided it was time to purchase my own condo after my first grandchild was born. I chose Sunstone because of its location and because it was where we had been renting when we came to Mammoth since the building opened.

What makes this condo unique

Certainly enough cannot be said about the ski in and ski out feature, but in addition to that I find Sunstone to be a really beautiful building and the great room is absolutely gorgeous. The pool/ Jacuzzi/ workout facilities are perfect, and I really love coming down to a car that is not buried in snow.
