Enjoy spectacular sunsets and resort-lifestyle in Seabluffe, one of San Diego's most popular coastal communities. Our townhome is in a gated beach community with easy access to a private beach below the bluff (140 yards from our door to the ocean). It is located in the Leucadia region of Encinitas. Surrounded by lush gardens and walking paths, Seabluff Village offers 2 pools, an outdoor jacuzzi, 5 lighted tennis courts, basketball, and a tot playground. Our tri-level vacation home has 4-5 bedrooms and 2 living areas (one on the main floor and the other on the lower level, a great place for children). We have a fully-equipped kitchen, designer linens, a full-size washer and dryer, big screen TV, DVD, VCR, and stereo. We are convenient to local golf courses, and central to Southern California attractions including Legoland, Seaworld, the San Diego Zoo and the Wild Animal Park. Terrific for Families!

We had a great stay. The beach was wonderful. Amazing evening sunsets. I enjoyed morning runs on the sand (the beach extends half a mile one direction and about three miles in the other direction). I even saw a baby sea lion on the beach and an adult sea lion in the water! My kids loved playing on the beach too (great sand for digging and castle-building and plenty of shells for collecting). The beach access was easy and convenient. I appreciated the shower heads at the top of the beach access stairs for washing off sand.

The house was well-equipped for our kids. Port-a-crib, high chair, toys... were all great. The closet off the basement bedroom where my husband and i slept was big enough for the crib, which was nice for us since our baby does best in her own sleeping space. Kitchen was well equipped and totally functional.

New double-pane windows were installed just prior to our stay. They look great and work well. I don't recall any road noise through them.

The location was perfect for our family. Parking was easy. Our kids had a great time at the pool and playground. Besides the beach, we also visited old town, sea world (we highly recommend the seal show-- very entertaining for the adults and the kids), and a local strawberry field. We had a great time.

Perfect Family Rental

We could not have been more pleased with this rental property. Our Family had a great time and a truly memorable experience while staying in Encinitas at this Seabluff rental. The beach was perfect and getting to and from it each day provided us with a nice little aerobic activity. The rental was spacious and nicely decorated and offered enough space that we were not on top of each other. The owner< Marian, was especially pleasant to work with. We plan on making our visits to this rental a yearly occasion.

Perfect family home

Wonderful, quiet, peaceful neighborhood. Neighbors were all friendly. We were afraid the water would be too cold, but with the warm weather, we got in some boogie boarding (equipment provided by owners). The home was lovely and the perfect vacation get-away. The property listing was accurate and the home was better than pictured. Marian was great to deal with, which made our vacation worry free. I would definately recommend this home to anyone, and actually already have not even a week after our vacation! During our week here, we were able to take in Disneyland, SeaWorld, and deep sea fishing, plus 2 beach only days!

Comfortable and affordable vacation rental

I greatly appreciated that this property was exactly as advertised, spacious, clean and well furnished, conveniently located and just a short walk from the beach. I was part of golf foursome that rented this 5bdrm/2bth unit for five nights. It was great to have our own bedrooms. The kitchen has all the necessary appliances and utensils to prepare a sumptuous meal, if you so desire. There is also a BBQ grill on the terrace and a dining table off the kitchen with bench seating for 6+ people. The living room area contains a large leather couch and matching chair, providing a great space to relax and watch TV or a movie. The parking garage is also a nice feature, since the parking spaces were all utilized on a couple of occasions. Most gratifying was my interaction with the owner, Marian Taylor. She was extremely helpful and responsive during the booking process, which can be somewhat stressful when you are dealing with strangers. It was a pleasure working with her and I wouldn't hesitate to rent this unit again.

P.S. Go to Fish 101 for great seafood at reasonable prices!

Amazing place to spend a summer vacation

Our family had a great time! Easy access to the beach was a huge hit with our teenagers and kids; not to mention the proximity to So Cal theme parks (25 mins to Sea World/Zoo/Safari and about 50 minutes to la). The home felt cozy and spacious. Our party of 6 adults, 4 teen/pre-teen plus two younger kids fit comfortably and felt there was room to spare. The owner, Marian, is great to work with and we had no problems with any of the contracts and arrangements. Marian responded quickly to our emails and was also available by phone. Once we arrived, the only hiccup was that we were not able to connect with the Property manager, Annette, other than by phone/text during our stay. The property and grounds are well taken care of. The guard at the gate was also very friendly and helpful.
