Fantastic break from the Texas heat!

We just spent the most fantastic week in Tofino, and the Pacifca House was the perfect getaway from the Texas heat. My wife and I and our four children enjoyed everything about the house from the well-stocked gourmet kitchen to the hot tub to the pool table. If you enjoy cooking, I must say that the kitchen was a very cool part of our stay. We cooked big Dungeness crabs and grilled fresh halibut and lingcod - we even did hot dogs on the grill one night. There are so many fresh, locally-sourced ingredients on Vancouver Island, it was wonderful to be able to do some proper cooking while we were there.
The house was perfectly suited for our active family. The beach is about a 2 minute walk, and the close proximity meant lots of trips. The house is also very close (less than a 5 minute walk) to the Tofitian, Tacofina (food truck), Wildside Grille, Chocolate Tofino and Groovy Movie Store. We're already looking at next year's calendar to find another week for a return visit. I wouldn't change anything - it was a perfect vacation, and the house is everything we expected and more.
