Tahoe City House Rental Photos and Description
House, 3 Bedrooms, 2.5 Baths, (Sleeps 6)
Tahoe Tree House has been professionally managed and maintained for 10+ years. It's a renters' favorite - one of their most popular properties with high repeats. We happily pass the savings on to you!
What's the big benefit of 'professionally managed?' NO personal effects of the owner. Towels folded decoratively, soap in the soap dishes, extra hot tub towels....The house is truly yours. Most VRBO houses feel like the owner still lives there (cluttered with personal pictures and stuff) or has never overnighted there (no amenities). Try us, you'll see the difference.
Welcome to Tahoe Tree House which overlooks mature pines and firs while giving you peeks of the lake through gorgeous cathedral windows. *NEW SPA* just installed! Homeowner recently remodeled this warm, bright home to include modern amenities without sacrificing the classic Tahoe vacation feel-big log ceiling beams, vaulted ceilings, cozy wood burning stove, 3 redwood decks and hot tub. Features new granite counter tops and cherry cabinets in kitchen and bathrooms, sunny redwood decks and a 2nd floor open floor plan where the kitchen, living room and dining room form a delightful great room, perfect for entertaining. Decks at either end of the upstairs bring the outside in. **BRAND NEW** Simmons Beautyrest Pillowtop Mattresses in 2 of 3 bedrooms! The master bedroom and two other bedrooms are all on the first floor, all with queen beds and professionally furnished. Doors from two bedrooms open out to hot tub deck complete with hot tub towels. There's cable TV, DVD/CD player, and stereo upstairs with a second TV in the master bedroom. High speed wireless Internet access keeps you connected to work or play. Conveniently situated 4 miles south of Tahoe City with easy access to Alpine Meadows and Squaw Valley ski resorts or Homewood. Located just 1 block away from Paige Meadows and Tahoe National Forest--great for hiking, biking, cross country skiing or snow shoeing without ever getting into your car.
Here are ACTUAL renters' comments, taken from the website of the professional rental agent we used for 10+ years to manage the property (see Reviews link for complete set):
A FAIRYTALE HOUSE IN A SUPERB LOCATION 5:5 STARS
We love the Treehouse and have returned several times (and will again). It is clean, spacious and very welcoming. We feel we have come home as soon as we walk through the front door. The property location, within easy reach of Alpine, Squaw, Northstar and Homewood is ideal for keen skiers such as ourselves. We were very appreciative of the WiFi although a bit disappointed that it stopped working after a few days as we were using it (via Skype) to keep in touch with our children, whom we had left at home for the first time. Happily they don't appear to have had any wild parties while we were away! We love Tahoe AND the Treehouse! Thank you.

FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE 5:5 STARS
First I want to thank you for keeping the cabin in top condition so we, renters, can enjoy it in full. The cabin is beautiful and was ready to be enjoyed. Also you were very helpful when I went to your office to request some information and when I called to request a later checkout time.
The only issue we notice with the cabin is that the garage door could not be opened automatically, because the chain was not engaging the door. Thanks again

WARM AND COZY 5:5 STARS
We got in during the first snow storm of the season. BRING CHAINS or have a really good four wheel drive - the house is up a few hills. Great house, had everything that we needed. The new oven was a little temperamental, but other than that - everything was wonderful!

GREAT LONG WEEKEND 5:5 STARS
We were very pleased with how accommodating the rental company was with changing houses. The first house we rented was not at all what we were expecting and had a horrible odor from the kitchen disposal. The staff allowed us to switch to Tahoe Tree House, a place we had rented before. What a difference! It's a nice layout and roomy. The hot tub is awesome and the kitchen is great to cook in. It's close to everything and the roads are well plowed. Great place to stay and we'll be back.

Just wanted to send you a quick note to let you know how much we’ve enjoyed the Tree House. It’s been a wonderful week so far - the place is perfect. We love the location near paige meadows and I was very pleased to find a well equipped kitchen :)
We fell in love with Tahoe years ago and have been coming up to the Tree House for years from the Bay Area where we live. It’s a perfect getaway, winter or summer. Our dogs love it as much as we do! We have had excellent experiences with renters and are happy to share our home with you.
We rented all over the Tahoe area before buying Tahoe Tree House. It's the best of all worlds: 1. Close to the lake (HUGE views as you drive to the house) without having to pay lake front prices 2. Hiking and cross country skiing 2 minutes away - you never have to get into your car, if you don't want to! 3. Equal access to multiple ski areas - Squaw and Alpine just west 6 miles, Homewood south 5 miles. 4. Locals' restaurant with killer lakeside location just down the hill
One of our renters made this recommendation: Great ski service Several of my friends took advantage of the Black Tie Skis delivery service. These guys were amazing! They showed up at the house with a van full of tons of high performance equipment and then fit you on the spot. They then made arrangements to meet us at the ski resort on the last day to pick up our stuff. Fantastic!
