We totaled enjoyed our stay at this island paradise for January and February for the last four years. It is always clean when we get there and Phil and Gizzelle always fix any problems that arise!!!!!! It always feels like we are coming home when we get there. The Bocillia Palms Club is always in immaculate condition and very beautiful. We call it our condo because, it is for 2 months of the year. The neighbors are always friendly. We both like to golf and the Alden Pines golf course is a few minutes away. There is always wonderful places to eat and things to do, plus the weather in Florida is usually great.
This was my first time staying at the Gator Shack and hopefully not my last. I have been visiting this area for years to take advantage of the laid back island atmosphere and the awesome fishing surrounding this area. I have even stayed at other condo's in the Bocilla Is. Club. This condo and its owners have exceeded my every prior visit to area and expectations for this visit. First just let me say that The Phil and Gisselle are truly delightful people to work with. Incredibly nice folks and very accommodating. Their wonderful personalities show through once inside the condo as you take in the ambiance of the decor as well as the thought that has gone into making this a very comfortable place to stay. Incredibly clean and very well stocked with many extras or little things you thought you forgot to bring. The grounds themselves are immaculate as well and the facility offers something for everyone. For me it was the boat ramp, marina, boat dockage with fish cleaning stations as well as electric and water hook ups. Swimming pool for after a long day of fishing, boat trailer parking, close buy restaurants, shopping ect. Cant say enough about the entire experience. 5 Stars! Only bad part was leaving, but thats OK. I'm already dreaming about going back!
A beautiful place on the water with all the amenities available. Nicely furnished. We had plenty of room for parking the truck and boat trailer. It was great that we had our own dock slip with power hookup and water hose. Just minutes across the harbor from Boca Grande. We visit Pine Island every year and Bocilla Island Club has been the best place that we have stayed. In comparison to overall quality and landscape Bocilla Island Club is ten times nicer than anywhere else. We booked three nights and enjoyed every moment and looking forward to going back next year.
When we arrived I thought we were in wrong condo, fridge was full of old food, cupboards the same .The condo is very old and has had nothing done to it to update.Old dirty furniture, very dirty windows .Walls had a lot of stains.Bathroom shower curtain had black mold, masterbedroom bed had no headboard,Pillows were old and very stained. We encountered cockroaches on two ocassions.Spoke to owner he said he didn't know what we were complaining about because the tenants before us loved it and booked for 2014.This condo was more like a old motel 6. Grounds nice and pool very nice.
We have stayed here three times so far. Booked again for the end of July. We love it. The pools are nice. The fishing is great. The restaurants all have great food. We have met the nicest people there.
