About Rhonda Smith

I designed and built this home in 1997. I raised my 3 sons in this home and entertained my large extended family every year in this home. Many family milestones and cherised memories have been shared in this home. With my grown sons away in college, I remarried in 2009 and moved to a horse farm with my husband. It saddened me to see this beautiful home sit empty most of the year, so I decided to see if other large families liked to vacation together like mine does. I have been overwhelmed by the response. So many wonderful families now sharing their vacation time together in 'Seven in Heaven' and making more wonderful family memories!

Perfect family wedding locale!

Our family stayed at the home from Oct 2- 7, 2012. It was the perfect venue for an intimate wedding ceremony for my daughter. The home was clean and tastefully decorated (exactly like the pictures). The owner was very accomodating with special requests. The space was also kid friendly and centerally located on the island. We had perfect weather during our stay and the grounds were beautiful! Would definitley recommend this vacation home!

What a blessing!

Our very large family gathered cousins driving from Houston, Texas and flying into Myrtle Beach airport from Boston, Mass., to once more reunite at Holden Beach. Seven In Heaven delighted our family with a lovely, spacious home for all to spend a week of sun, fun, and relaxation. Our large crowd was able to spread out comfortably, yet gather together for wonderful dinners, made possible with the big, open kitchen. The large deck outside provided tremendous times of conversation and "catching-up". The dock was another highlight of the week with new experiences through fishing and crabbing. As expected, Rhonda's kindness for her guests is reflected through her beautiful, Holden Beach home.

"Seven in Heaven" is all you need for a perfect family vacation...peaceful view of the ICW from the spacious main-level porch, complete with rocking chairs! It was a daily gathering place for our large family.

Cooking is a pleasure in this well-equipped kitchen, with room for everyone to eat together. Lots of places to "perch" and chat with the cooks while they are doing their thing! More-than-ample storage for your groceries and supplies during your stay.

Large, round kitchen table is great for afternoon- or after-supper-gaming.

Every bedroom is spacious, beautifully decorated and comfortable. Bathrooms are conveniently located on each level...room for everyone!

Grocery store is near-by for convenience. Lots of great little boutiques, too!

Wilmington to the North or Myrtle Beach to the south -- a short drive to either if you want nightlife or "big" shopping.

The beach is a short walk and is perfect for surfing, castle-building or reading your summer book! (We did some of each!)

This is THE place for your future family gatherings...it doesn't get any better than this!

Family Reunion

We just returned from a vacation at 7 in Heaven Beach home and all I can say is: You must GO and experience it for yourself. The views were great from the large deck at the back of the house which became the main gathering place for conversation and just relaxing. All interiers were clean and very cozy for the most discriminating traveler. It is perfect for a large group such as we had and ample parking is available in front and beach is just a short walk. Our grandchildren had a wonderful time at the dock and all the activities available to them. I highly recommend this as a home away from home while at Holden Beach. You will not be disappointed!
