Elizabeth and James, live in Palm Beach county Fl. but love to go to our summer house in the Keys. We enjoy diving, fishing, traveling, exercising.
Jim Panzer purchased this house in 2005
My wife and I picked Venture Out because it is very secure and has all the amenities you could want. The people here are very friendly and the community has lots of activities. The diving and fishing are great and we love to go to Key West to enjoy the night life.
The best amenity has to be the dock at your door step. Just jump onto the boat and take off. You can be in the Gulf or the ocean in minutes. We love to go to Looe Key Marine park where you can snorkel with hundreds of tropical fish in five to fifteen feet of water. You can fish the flats or open water. I have caught many grouper, kingfish, wahoo, cobia, snapper and many other fish. I take my grandkids fishing at the dock and we catch plenty of snapper on frozen corn. There is so much to do you don't have to go out on a boat, there is a great gym up the road, lots of restaurants, a huge pool and plenty of activities within the community. My wife likes to walk in the morning with her friends, bike around the compound or just relax, read a book and look over the bay.
This was my family's second year staying in this lovely home in Cudjoe Key. My husband and our three boys (10,8, & 5) enjoy every aspect of this home and the wonderful amenities of Venture out. The home is exactly as pictured, clean and beautiful! Jim is a pleasure to work with and is always quick to get back to me with any questions. The 20 min ride to Key West is quick and easy as well as visiting other keys. There are may restaurants nearby the area which makes this location perfect for a keys rental. We are looking very forward to going back again next year as this has become our new family tradition. I cannot say enough about this home, we just love being able to stay here during our week in paradise!
When we arrived in Florida from chilly Minnesota it took us a few days to get into "vacation mode". This home was perfect for us. Plenty of room, very comfortable furniture, the best stocked kitchen of any VRBO rental I've used and very clean. The neighborhood was friendly with plenty of suggestions of how we should spend the day, or to come on over and play bocci ball in the evening. I highly recommend this rental to anyone. The area in the Keys is near to any activity your heart desires.
Everything was smooth from initial inquiry to security deposit return, owner is great to work with. The pictures are accurate...this is a great house in a gated resort community. It is conveniently close to Key West, as well as the other keys. We did a lot of SCUBA diving and sightseeing (note for SCUBA divers, conditions are not always optimal in winter!). We had an extended family of five, my wife and I in the Master Bedroom, my daughter and my mother in the second bedroom (2 beds), and my nephew on the fold-out couch in the living room. The fully outfitted kitchen and washer and dryer were great. The only minor thing I can think of is it would be nice to have a more robust cable package, but we didn't watch that much TV anyway! Definitely a good choice for anyone who wants to vacation in the Keys but not pay Key West prices.
Could not ask for anything more. This home has everything you need and then some. My husband and I stayed here for my first vacation to the Keys and we look forward to many more! Definitely will be back for more memories :) Location is perfect, easy access to the ocean, and only 19 miles from Key West!!! 20 minutes from the Reef in Looe Key if that. Words really can not describe this home except for PERFECT! :)
We had a wonderful vacation with great weather and good fishing! Our son requested Key West for his graduation trip so he could fish and that we did! Several yellow tails and 2 nice dolphin which gave me such joy to watch his excitement and happiness! We can't wait to return to your place and wanna buy it, some day! We were very pleased with everything. I rode the sweet pink bike and walked a lot around the facility and felt safe. We did notice that it was not near as busy in June as it is in February when we go to Sugarloaf for the past 28 years. Can't wait to go back and thanks for sharing your beautiful place. It was great for the three of us! Our favorite places to eat are Hurricane Hole, No Name Pub,Hard Rock Cafe and Mangrove Mama's. We also enjoyed the tour of the coast guard ship and just walking around town.
Every year a group of us head to the Keys to fish for a week. I am usually the one in charge of finding the place to stay. This is the first year all came to me and said how great a job I did picking this house.
This house has everything and I mean everything we needed. Ex. Deep water wide canal for docking. Lockable storage for expensive fishing gear, full size freezer for bait and fish storage, 2 hoses so saveD time while 1 cleaned fish and 1 washed the boat (small thing but a big time saver), very comfortable sleeping accommodations, nice screened in porch with quality table and chairs to discuss the days adventures.
If you are put in charge of selecting a place in the Keys to vacation you will be a hit if you select this house.
Home has dockage for boat, canal front, cleats, dock box, fish table, electric at dock. Large 12 X 12 cement shed under home to keep all your stuff. Also has freezer for bait, outside shower to cool off when you come home from a day of fishing, two hoses to help clean the boat. Community power washer at marina. Located 20 minutes from Key West by car. Only 20 minutes by boat from Looe Key National Marine Sanctuary. Comes with fishing polls, tackle, two bikes, two tennis rackets and balls.
