This home is 2100 square feet on a large, 1.5 acre lot on Lake Erie with beach in the front. The home is located within five minutes of Cedar Point Amusement Park. Park goers can enjoy a morning in the park, get their hands stamped, returning to the home in the afternoon for cookouts and use of the beach, and return to the park later in the afternoon or early evening.
Nearby attractions include: Numerous marshes as well as Sheldon Marsh which provides some of the best waterfowl habitat and bird watching in America, ferry and jet boat rides to Kelley's Island and Put-in-Bay, Thomas Edison Home and Museum, Great Lakes Maritime Museum, Merry Go Round Museum, African Lion Safari, Glacier Grooves, historic Marblehead Lighthouse, Perry's Monument, Johnson Island Confederate Civil War Cemetery, Old Woman Creek National Estuarine Sanctuary, Deer Park - where you and the kids can feed the animals while walking among them, Sawmill Creek and Thunderbird Hills Golf Courses, wine tasting at Fireland or Pelee Island Wineries, lunch or dinner at Mon Ami Winery, charter fishing for walleye, perch, and bass.

We both love to go to Cedar Point Amusement park, enjoy fishing and the islands immediately north of and visible from our private beach.
Largest property on Cedar Point Road. Our property has 150 feet of frontage on a 1 1/2 acre lot. Nearly all other homes on Cedar Point Road are on 75 foot frontage lots and average 6/10 of an acre and necessarily two story homes. Our home is a one story ranch and fully handicapped accessible.
This home is the place we dream about all year to get us through the cold winters and routine of fall and winter. We picture ourselves here. On the beach, at the bay, around the fire pit, and in "our" comfortable home away from home. Located close to just about everything you might want to do on a vacation; swim, beach, fish, boat, sightseeing, amusement parks, water parks, restaurants, stores, and even airplane rides, you cannot go wrong with this home. The owner is a wonderful man who keeps the property clean, is always adding new additions, (deck, dock, area to sit at the beach), and aside from the food you eat, you will not need to bring much. The home is stocked with just about everything. It is all one level so if you have an elderly person or someone with a disability (like myself) it is easy to get around. And pets are welcome! There is even a breezeway they can stay if you cannot take them where you are going that day. We would stay here all summer if we could. This is our third year and we will keep coming back. We have stayed in other homes in the area and nothing compares. Enjoy your stay!
This place was more than we expected. It was a fully stocked house – all we needed to bring was our own clothes and food. We didn’t need to run to the stores for house supplies like bags, paper towels, and toilet paper. It was very roomy with rooms with large beds. The owners are very attentive to their property and demonstrate lots of experience at vacating renting. Nice private beach and nice back yard for a big party. If we were to go to Sandusky again we would stay here. Nice short drive to cedar point.
We spent a week here with my parents (my dad is in a wheelchair) and had a fantastic time. The location is great and the views are spectacular. The house is well stocked-just bring your clothes and your bathing suit.
