Three bedroom log home with plenty of space for relaxing or entertaining. Quaint country kitchen has the modern amenities of a dishwasher, double oven and microwave. Also included: washer/dryer, private tennis court, private beach and walking trails, large deck. Incredible views of the Green Mountains.

Great location for day trips to the Adirondacks and Green Mountains, Montreal and Burlington. Or stay home and kayak from private beach which is just a short walk from the house. Walking trails on property.

The Perfect New England Vacation

Without doubt the best vacation we have ever taken. The house was perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 boys ages 13 and 11). From the tennis court, basketball hoop, large open grass fields and deck overlooking Lake Champlain, everything was ideal. Bring your bicycles and plan on spending a lot of time in the lake, whether swimming, fishing or sailing, and you'll have a great time. If you want to squeeze in some sightseeing, Montreal and Burlington are easy daytrips. My only regret is that we don't own kayaks.

Although the Isle La Motte can seem remote, we had some great meals nearby, on North Hero Island.

Just remember to bring groceries because the general store on the island doesn't carry much of anything.
