This is truly a house for all seasons and has a 3rd bedroom option!

: This cozy two unit home is set on 23 acres of pasture and wooded trails with it's own beach on the Saco River. Past guests have commented on the craftsmanship and the welcoming feel of the property. We think you'll agree with us when we say that staying at the Chocorua Farm on the Saco is a little 'peace' of Heaven'.

This area offers great outlet shopping, restaurants, scenery and a multitude of winter and summer sports. Whether you enjoy skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating or just sitting by the fire we have it all here. We have a beach on the property for you to enjoy swimming, fishing or canoeing. Sit outside and enjoy views of Moat and Chocorua Mountains. We have kept our prices competitive to offer our guests a high quality product at an afforable price.. Come on up and see what our guests are raving about!

We've created a home that can accommodate many kinds of groups. We have flexibility to make the home into a 2 or 3 bedroom unit by using the 'lock out' feature of this house. It is perfect for 2 to 8 people and especially ideal for 3 couples as each large and upscale bedroom is a private suite with king size beds, it's own TV, gas fireplace, sitting area and private in room baths.

Spring 2013..We've remodeled...We now have a mudroom with a washer and dryer and a donwstairs 1/2 bathroom. There is a brand new eat in kitchen with a banquette that seats 8 people and an island with a dish washer. Very comfortable and upscale!

About Linda

My husband and I purchased this property as a second home with the idea that when our children grew up and left the nest that we would try our hand at doing a B & B. In 2006 we moved up here and starting working on the house. After reviewing what we wanted to do we decided that a B & B wasn't in the stars for us so that is when we decided to remodel the house into 2 separate houses so that our guests could have their privacy and we could have ours. We think that being on premise is a plus for our guests in case they need anything be it information, a cup of sugar or whatever else they may need. We have gotten nothing but positive feedback and are thrilled that we went this route.

Why Linda chose North Conway

We have always loved the White Mts. and when we saw this property we just knew that we wanted to share this with other people. We think that the location is perfect as it is close to North Conway and all of the outlets but not right in the heart of it. We are on the main road but sit back nicely hidden from it. Between the location and the serenity of the area we think that it is a win win situation. We love the land as it has open fields, wooded areas, a beach and close proximity to town.

What makes this farmhouse unique

I think one of the things that makes this home unique is that we decorate for every season by changing the pictures on the walls and the decor to reflect the season. If you come in the winter be prepared to see a lot of snowmen! We also try to provide our guests with memorable experiences versus just a house to stay at. We have the ablility to accommodate anywhere from 2 to 8 guests with our new 'lockout' bedroom feature so we can cater to many different groups of guests or two families. I also like to make up welcome baskets for our guests which I think is fairly uncommon with a rental house. If you have read the many reviews on our site I think that you will see how our past guests have viewed this home.

This 1860's, 'Currier and Ives' farm house has been recently remodeled into two warm and cozy attached homes. We have strived to keep the integrity of this period, antique, timber frame home in the decorating and the architecture.

We are located 1.5 miles from the village of North Conway. Story Land is 15 minutes north of us. Echo Lake and Diana's Baths are 10 mintues away for some picturesque swimming and hiking. Come stay with us and enjoy our 'peace of heaven'. We have a 400 foot beach, a fire pit, lawn and indoor games and so much more! This winter, enjoy snowshoeing from your door on 23 acres of woods and fields. We provide 6 sets of adult snowshoes with the price.

Other Activities: This is a great location as we are close to town but not in the center of it. We have restaurants,grocery stores, banks, a bakery, hairdresser, canoe and kyak rentals, and tennis courts within walking distance. We provide snowshoes and 23 + acres of open fields and wooded paths to enjoy a fun afternoon of outdoor exercise in the winter and beach on the Saco River within walking distance.

Golf: North Conway public golf course is just 5 minutes from us and is open to the public and has a very nice restaurant. It is next to the train station in North Conway.

Ski: Cranmore Mountain, which has been totally updated to accommodate young and old, beginners and pros, tubing, skiing, and a mountain coaster, is only 5 minutes from us! Attitash and King Pine are 20 minutes from us and Loon is 40 minutes away. King Pine is a great ski resort for young children and is family oriented. It has a skating rink, tubing and gentle slopes.

What else can i say that hasn't been written before...we loved this farmhouse. My husband and i went up for a few winter nights with our two toddler boys. The bedrooms, fireplace, comfy living room furniture, impeccable cleanliness, array of board/card games, thoughtful gift baskets for all of us...just a sampling of the highlights. We loved the huge field out back that led to the river--took the boys on a few sled/snow shoe runs! Great location. Not having a washer/dryer on site was initially a concern but was ok--it turns out linda and jay are planning to add them soon. Speaking of, the owners are wonderful. They genuinely care about their guests and their property. Thanks again for a relaxing stay!

Never long enough

I just finished my third stay at this wonderful home in Conway. I look forward to this vacation every year just to spend a few days in this tranquil home. I think one of the main attractions about this getaway is that it truly is a HOME. The house is decorated exactly how you would picture a country home in winter to be decorated. It is warm and quiet, a place where you can gather with friends or listen to some music with a fire going in the fire place.

The house is close to town (less than 1.5 miles). Outlets, grocery stores, country stores and skiing areas. Right next door is little country bakery serving fresh doughnuts, pastries and some good conversation.

The house is extremely clean and the hosts are extremely nice. I can't wait to book my next stay.

Conway farmhouse

This is our second stay at this beautiful farmhouse. It is clean and cozy with comfortable beds and great fireplaces. Linda and Jay are wonderful hosts,the property is meticulously maintained. We love the location for it's proximity to skiing,shopping and all that the white mountains have to offer. We will be back next year!

A truly memorable Christmas!

Our hopes this year for my husband and I to spend a simple, serene and unhurried Christmas were happily realized at Chocorua View Farm. From our Christmas Eve moonlight walk along the wooded path by the river, to a beautiful softly falling Christmas morning snowfall, it was everything we had hoped for. The cottage style farmhouse was decorated to perfection with twinkling lights, garlands, legions of snowmen, a tree and warm and homey holiday touches everywhere. Linda and Jay were the perfect hosts, always available but totally respectful of tenants' privacy.
We are so glad we came and would absolutely recommend staying in this beautifully renovated and decorated gem of a home at any season!

Relaxing Weekend Getaway!

My family and I just came back from our second trip staying at this lovely and charming farmhouse. There simply isn't any other place that we have stayed (and we have stayed at numerous places ranging from 5 star hotels to small bed and breakfasts) that measures up to this gem of a hideaway! The hosts Jay and Linda define the word hospitality in the truest sense with their warm welcome and the attention to detail that goes into making your stay enjoyable.

The lovely welcome baskets for my husband and I as well as a special one just for our 6 year old daughter started our stay off wonderfully...thank you so much! The stone fireplace in the living room was great, and it was so relaxing to sit back and enjoy the fire with a glass of wine as we admired all the Christmas decorations that were throughout the house....lovely.

Thank you Linda and Jay for the helpful directions and restaurant recommendations...we loved our night out at May Kelly's and a vacation is always a bit better when we don't get lost:-)

Thank you for showing us the preview of the new 3rd bedroom...can't wait to see it fully finished as I know it will be just as lovely as the rest of the home. We will surely be back to visit another time.
