The villa was built by a Swiss architect according to Swiss quality standards. On the ground floor you will find the large, covered hall with BBQ (grill fireplace), entrée, a large living room with fireplace, a huge panorama patio and a spacious dining room. There is also a large eat-in kitchen with modern devices, 2 double bedrooms with cabinets in a Spanish style, a large bathroom with WC / bidet are located on the ground floor as well. On the top floor you will find a double bedroom with a cabinet in a Spanish style, a secluded patio with a panorama sea view and a WC with shower (Duscholux). Behind the villa you will find a separate studio apartment for the house managers (a Swiss couple). The private, secluded pool (4 x 9.6 m) has 'Roman stairs'. Around the pool you will find a lot of open space. Direct access from the villa to the pool.

About 80 km south of the French border you will find Tamariu, a charming, small fishing village that has preserved its typical character (no high buildings). There you will find beach, different small stores, elegant small hotels and multiple recommendable restaurants and even a diving school. Only 5 km away you will find the city of Palafrugell with its daily market and all services and shops - a pulsating regional city. 'Aigua Gelida' is one of the most impressive urbanisations in Costa Brava. The world-famous tenor José Carreras is our neighbor. Our villa is located in a cul de sac, absolutely peaceful in a well-kept, exclusive environment. Only about 100 m from the rock coasts of the sea, which can be reached through a foot path. In a few minutes walk you can get to the bay 'Aigua Gelida'. Countless beaches for all tastes and needs can be reached within a short drive, multiple golf courses nearby.

Ein ideales Domizil, um ein entspannenden und erholsamen Urlaub zu verbringen. Der atemberaubende Blick von den Terrassen, die komfortable Einrichtung und der stets saubere Pool lassen keine Wünsche offen. Erwähnen möchten wir auch den freundlichen Empfang durch das sehr nette und diskrete Hausmeisterehepaar sowie die unkomplizierte und zeitnahe Rückzahlung der Kaution. Wir können die Villa und den Vermieter bestens weiterempfehlen.

Traumhafter Meerblick

Wir waren zu zweit für eine sehr erholsame Woche Mitte Juni in diesem schönen Haus.
Problemlose Anfahrt dank guter Beschreibung. Privilegierte Lage, an einer ruhigen Anlieger-Straße in einem Villenviertel mit sehr schönem Blick von allen Terassen zum Meer (hinweg über Straße und Nachbargrundstück) läßt kaum Wünsche offen. Zugang zu einer Felsbucht mit Bademöglichkeit bei ruhiger See ist möglich, der Strand von Tamariu 10-15 min zu Fuß entfernt (oder 5 min mit dem Auto). Sehr schöner absolut privater Pool, immer sauber, dank der diskreten Betreuung durch "Hausmeister"-Ehepaar in der Studiowohnung. Insgesamt war das Haus sehr sauber und gemütlich, die Schweizer Gründlichkeit läßt nichts zu wünschen übrig, auch nicht bei der Einrichtung der Küche, in der wirklich alles vorhanden ist, was man braucht (incl. Top-Pfannen und Espresso-Maschine).
Insgesamt ein Ort, an dem wir uns sehr gut in Ruhe erholen konnten.

Urlaub an der Aigua Xelida

Wir kamen Sonnabends, erst am Abend (Staus ohne Ende), in Tamariu an. Vom Verwalterehepaar wurden wir
herzlich begrüßt. Das Schweizer Paar bewohnt die sepe-
rate Studiowohnung und kümmert sich um Haus, Garten,
Pool usw.. Es handelt sich um ein diskretes und freund-
liches Paar.
Das Haus war so, wie wir es uns vorgestellt hatten:
Fantastischer Meerblick
Wunderbarer Pool
Gemütliche Terrasse (Innenhof)
Sonstige Terrassen mit Meerblick usw. usw.
Übrigens, wer einmal einen großen spanischen Tenor mit
seinen Hunden
spazieren gehen sehen möchte, der muß sich zum Abend-
essen auf die große Terrasse setzen. Der Tenor
wohnt nämlich gleich schräg gegenüber. Aber das nur
nebenbei.
Ansonsten lädt die Aigua Xelida zu herrlichen Spazier-
gängen an der Küste, direkt am Wasser, ein. Dort ge-
nießt man dann die Ruhe u. das Meer.
Leider waren die 14 Tage viel zu schnell vorbei.
FAZIT: Klasse Urlaub!
Noch etwas: Die Buchung und Abwicklung waren problem-
los. Der Vermieter hat uns, wie erwartet, das Garantiede-
pot nach Urlaubsende umgehend zurück überwiesen.
Owner's Response: Der Hund gehört José Carreras, doch „Gassi“ geht mit dem gutmütigen „Murri“ meistens der Hausmeister. Danke für Ihr Lob, ich habe es an meine Hausverwalter weitergeleitet.
NB: aus hygienischen Gründen lassen wir in unserer Villa jedoch keine Haustiere zu. Der Vermieter.

Im Sommer 2008 haben wir sehr schöne Ferien in diesem Domizil verbracht. Die Villa liegt sehr ruhig, die Räume sind sehr gross und komfortabel eingerichtet. Einmalig schön ist der Blick aufs Meer von den beiden Terrassen.Das Verwalter-Ehepaar hielt sich diskret im Hintergrund und hat überhaupt nicht gestört. Den schönen Pool konnten wir auch nutzen. Mit dem Vermieter hat alles wunderbar geklappt und wir haben das Garantiedepot unverzüglich nach Beendigung unseres Urlaubs wieder erhalten. Wenn man gerne Ruhe hat, ist diese Villa sehr empfehlenswert.
