We are a retired couple who visited 35-40 ski areas before selecting Silver Star as our permanent ski destination. We were captivated by the terrain, the village and the civility of the community. We now have many Silver Star ski friends...from near and far. We transitioned from renting to buying a condo and then to building Que Syrah Syrah to accommodate our 2 children, their spouses and our 4 grand children. Being on the hill with them last year was a dream come true. We will use our home for about 10 weeks every winter and would like to share it with others for the remainder of the season.
After retirement we covered western Canada and U.S.A. looking for the perfect ski location. We hit Silver Star for a day, then a week, finally realizing that this was where we wanted to come year after year.We found a sense of civility and friendliness here that was not matched at any of the other ski areas we had visited. Our home was not built primarily as a rental property. It is mainly for our use together with our family and friends. We would like to share it during the time it would be vacant hoping you will become part of the Silver Star community.
Our 10 weeks at Silver Star every winter are filled with skiing, great evenings with friends and regular visits to our regular haunts, Long John's, Isadore's and sleigh rides to the cabin in the woods. Having our own place just makes it so much better.
