A Little Slice of Heaven

My husband and I stayed in this wonderful apartment for two weeks this spring. The apartment is in a well kept, quiet building on the Promenade des Anglais. It is on the ground floor, however it is slightly raised from ground level. What this means is that one can sit in the spacious kitchen and look out the door to the garden and see all of the action on the Promenade. We watched the Nice half marathon while having breakfast...what a treat.
The garden is a special delight. Not many people are fortunate enough to have a beautiful oasis in the city. Although the apartment is described as spacious in the VRBO description, this description does not do it justice. The apartment is huge. The well equipped kitchen is a joy for anyone who likes to cook. For those who prefer not to cook, the location is a joy because of the plethora of fine restaurants within walking distance. There are two supermarkets and four bakeries a stones throw away.
The apartment is comfortably furnished with a generous supply of towels and bed linens.The bedroom has an air conditioner and a very comfortable bed..There is more than enough storage space.
Norma, the owner, is very responsive and very easy to deal with. Her representative, Katia, is equally easy to deal with with.
We will definitely return within the next few years. This little slice of heaven in the big slice of heaven that is the French Riviera is not going to get away from us.
