Cottage, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6)

Dunn's Farm, a Centennial Farm owned by the same family for almost 150 years, is located on beautiful Big Glen Lake, rated by National Geographic as one of the 3 most beautiful lakes in the world! With 1,000 front feet of sandy shoreline, swimming and water sports are inviting for every member of the family. Although the property is no longer farmed, the open spaces created provide for never ending outdoor activities. Our rental months are June, July, August and the first two weeks in September. We rent weekly from Saturday to Saturday.

The Leelanau Peninsula is known for its cherry orchards and vineyards, and the welcoming villages of Glen Arbor, Suttons Bay, Leeland and Northport cater to summer tourists whether shopping, dining or just meandering through these picturesque towns.

The Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore and sand dunes which are only 5 miles away provide miles of hiking and climbing, as well as stretches of Lake Michigan shoreline. Or you may never find the need to leave Dunn's Farm, as the sunrises offer the promise of another memorable day on the water, steaks or whitefish roasted on the grill and an almost never ending sunset as you watch the embers of your beach fire slowly die.

About The Owner

I married into the Dunn, Johnson, Dutmers family in 1966, and our entire family moves from Traverse City to Dunn's Farm each summer. We now have 5 grandchildren who are carrying on the tradition of Dunn's Farm. My husband and I are retired.

The Owner purchased this cottage in 1865
Why The Owner chose Glen Lake

The property has been handed down to each succeeding generation.

What makes this cottage unique

We stay in the main house and use the rental unit simply as a rental.
