This medium-length layout has 3 sets of teeboxes for a fun, but challenging golfing experience. Online tee times may be available at Sea Mountain Golf Course or at nearby golf courses, usually offered at a discount from the normal rate. Ocean View from every hole.

You might see a review from my wife as well. Very nice place and pretty much as advertised. Very good unit for 2 people but would be quite cramped for more than that. Well equiped unit with an easy walk to the pool area. Gas grills available as mentioned, easy to use. We cooked 4 dinners and had no trouble finding an open grill. Location is great for visiting black sand beach. About a 5-7 minute walk. Very pretty and we saw sea turtles every day in a little cove just before the beach and at the beach as well. As with previous reviews, location is definitely away from it all. If that is what you are looking for, this is the place. Would recommend doing grocery shopping in either Kona or Hilo. There are grocery stores about 10 minutes in each direction but pricey and limited selections. Internet connectivity is available but reliablity is directly related to distance from the office. This units connectivity is fair. I know this is vacation but searching for things to do via the web might require sitting outside the office :). Golf course is at the complex and i would give it mixed reviews. You can play for about $30 with cart but you get what you pay for. Several greens in rough conditions and not much fairway to speak of on many holes. There are several challenging holes and some great views. The course does not see a lot of action so getting on is not a challenge. It is a good way to start the morning. Volcanoe Golf and Country club is about 30-40 minutes away and is a great place to play.

Overall a very good place to stay with good access to other parts of the island.

Highly recommended. This quaint spot was perfect.... It exceeded all our needs and wants. Our family was highly impressed on the cleanliness of the rental. Felt like we were right at home but in a magical location. The "Hut" had all ammenities, plenty of space, and extremely clean. The property was immaculate. Very well maitained, prestine pool,and relaxing spa.
CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK!!!!

Mornings on the famous Black Sand beach, days spent exploring the nearby sights or passed lazily by the community pool, evenings marked by brilliant sunsets and star-lit skies. It took minutes to adjust to the laid-back island lifestyle, and who knows how long it will take to wear off? Hopefully not before our next visit! Our expectations were exceeded in every category imaginable: accommodations, setting, sights, safety, comfort...there wasn't a moment of unease on the trip. This place was made for those who want to get away on vacation while never sacrificing the comforts of home. We were able to share quiet, romantic dinners on our private lanai, go for a morning run along the beach, and make friends with other residents. While the more populated areas are a short drive away, we found ourselves familiarizing ourselves with what the locals would call "the real Hawaii". The community provided a very convenient jumping-off point to visit the more remote attractions, such as Green Sands Beach and Volcano National Park, where the mood so greatly affected me, in particular, that I hit one knee and proposed to my now-fiancee. She said yes, by the way. Apparently she felt the same vibe. During our stay, we know we didn't get to see everything, but we know we made the most of our time by utilizing the on-site guides who were able to point us in the direction of all attractions we probably would have otherwise missed, as well as assisting us in planning. The truth is, everywhere we turned, there was something worth admiring, and whether you're a shutterbug like me or would rather just enjoy the moments, your stay will provide you with unforgettable memories like it did for us. We felt taken care of from beginning to end, and wanted to share our satisfaction. Show up without an agenda, and just let the island do the work. Our outlooks feel positively altered, and we can't wait to return and recharge. Thank you so much!

Thank you guys for the stay at the condo! We had a great time on the Island and really enjoyed staying here, it was amazing. This is the perfect location for exploring the Island. We loved the black sand beach and seeing turtles. We were so comfortable staying here and it had everything that we needed for our perfect vacation in paradise.
