This Paniolo Club condo is located just a few miles from the best white sand beaches on the Big Island. When you are not out exploring, just sit back on the shady cool lanai sipping a smoothie while you watch the birds, turkeys, and nene geese, that frequent the golf course and gully. This unit offers the comforts of home, and is a short walk to shopping, golf, a salt water swimming pool, and restaurants. It makes island living as it should be: RELAXED and COMFORTABLE!
You will love the Kohala Coast area and all that it offers: dining and shopping at nearby resorts; swimming with the dolphins at the famous Waikoloa Beach Resort/Hilton; playing a round of golf on the most popular courses in the islands; snorkeling, and visiting an island that offers 9 different climates- including seasonal snow on the Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa volcanoes.
This condo is owned by a retired teacher and a retired general contractor. We believe in modeling 4 principles: 1.) There is that of God in everyone, so one must have tolerance and look for it. 2.) Not all truths are known, so respect others and learn from them. 3.) Move ahead in life as way opens, so one must have patience and grace. 4.) One should give back to one’s community. We also believe in the Grange Motto: In Essentials, Unity. In Non Essentials, Liberty. In all things, Charity.
The owners have been, and are, involved in, multiple nonprofit organizations: Past President of: Lions Club, Dollars For Scholars, San Juan Grange, Community Treasures. Currently serving on several nonprofit boards. Basic Philosophies: Being fiscally responsible. Holding government to a high standard. Developing relationships through the use of honest open communication. Recognizing that actions speak louder than words. Offering a hand up over a hand out, to increase responsible behavior and to avoid enabling.
We enjoy being with family and friends, traveling, snorkeling, helping others, networking with others, and problem solving with outside the box thinking. Most important details: Married, 4 children, 5 grandchildren. Ardent supporter of recycling, and local conservation stewardship.

Great island roads, close to beaches, good sidewalks for morning walks, the friendly village feel.
Peaceful setting, birds on trees off of the lanai.
This was a wonderful rental to stay at for the two weeks we were on the island. It has everything we needed and somethings we did not expect. The boogie boards and snorkel gear were in good shape and usable. The property is well maintained and quiet. The little things were what made the difference for us. 1)The information about where to go and how to get there. 2) The golf course is near by and affordable 3) the market is within walking distance and there are spices in the property to cook with. If you are looking for a place not in the hustle and bustle of downtown Kona this is the place to stay.
We feel very strongly about this rental, it was PERFECT for what we needed, and we couldn't recommend it more highly. A few things we found really great..
1) They were afraid we would get in too late, and made sure we had cereal for the morning, and snacks to get us through the evening.
2) They created a gorgeous list of possibilities to see and do, most revolving around our favorite activity, snorkeling!
3) They stocked an entire tub full of fins, and snorkel gear, and had 2 boogie boards, a cooler, and 4 chairs for the beach! PERFECT!
4) They went out of their way to add small, personal touches that made us feel like it WAS our home for the 2 weeks we stayed.
We will definitely be back, and will tell everyone we know about this slice of heaven!
Oh, and it's in Waikoala Village, right next to an AWESOME affordable market, (check the back for produce, they had super fresh stuff, AND reasonably priced!) with various places to eat, and get coffee. A stone's throw away, and close to anything you want to see. AMAZING!

The condo was quiet, clean and comfortable. Easy to find. The owners provided some great suggestions for things to see and do, and things to avoid. I would recommend this unit to anyone who is able climb one flight of stairs.

This was just what we were looking for. A quiet condo close to the beach but far enough away to be affordable. 10 min drive. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen could use a better set of knives. But for a vacation rental they worked. Thanks again Frank. We'll get would of you for sure when we go again
Explore world renowned beaches with a 15-30 minute drive of our condo: try paddle boarding, water bicycles, snorkeling, swimming, and fishing at A Beach. Picnic and relax at Mauna Kea’s world class white sand beach. Go early to get a spot! This is the Big Island and there are many places, sights, and activities to enjoy. Tour by helicopter or just rent a car and explore Saddleback Road with the observatories, and Kaumana Cave on the way to Hilo. Take day trips to Place of Refuge, South Point, Volcano National Park, Hawi, and the end of the road lookout of Pololu Valley. Are you interested in big game fishing, poking around little shops, going to a luau, having shave ice or going parasailing or on a submarine to see the ocean critters without getting wet? Then Kona is a great place to visit. We always find something new to enjoy.
