Location, location, location!! Practically waterfront beach cottage with prime location 100 yards from private beach. Tucked away along a laneway, the property enjoys a nice, grassy yard and the house has an elevated deck overlooking the ocean for wonderful views. A perfect spot for your beach vacation.

Groceries, Shopping, Supplies: Little Compton has a small, local general store — Wilburs General Store — in the Commons, which sells groceries, small hardware and household items, as well as gifts and toys. We also have a local gas station and convenience store, Earles, located just beyond the Commons on Meeting House Lane and right next to Goularts Package Store. For a more extensive grocery selection, Lees Market is just a short drive away (±10 miles) in Westport. Little Compton also has a post office, coffee shop, galleries, a Sovereign bank/ATM and a Bank of American ATM, and a few restaurants right in and around the Commons. For our visitors closer to Adamsville, there are additional package and general stores as well.

Things to Do: Little Compton is rural in nature and boasts beautiful beaches, ponds and recreational areas. Antique, fine art, decorative crafts and boutique shops can be found just minutes away in nearby Tiverton Four Corners and Westport’s Central Village.

The coastal town of Little Compton, RI perfectly blends the history of its rural beginnings with the beautiful seaside community that has grown up with it. You enter the town with a sense of disconnect from the rest of the hustle and bustle and feel your tension fade away as you pass open fields and views of river and ocean. Enjoy sea breezes and the sounds of nature. The Town Commons is at the center of town where the restaurants, coffee shops, general store, gas station, post office, library and churches are located. Summer brings back our visiting friends, abundant local farmstands and seasonal events. A great place for a getaway from everyday life and relax on the beach!

Beautiful beachfront property. The porch is a wonderful way to start the morning with a cup of coffee, the waves, sunrise, singing birds and rabbits in the yard. The beach is pristine, good waves, not crowded. An added bonus is 3 diving boards built into the beach rocks for jumping, the kids loved it. House is comfortable, not fancy. Well stocked kitchen, great grill. Only drawback was buggy at at night, needed to be inside after dark.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
