3 Bedrooms, 2 baths, Sleeps 8

A beautifully remodeled house located in a quiet neighborhood of South Lake Tahoe. Located one mile from the 'Y' area, and 3 miles from Heavenly Ski Resort and the Stateline area with casinos, restaurants, shopping, concert venues, etc. Perfect for a few small families or a romantic getaway. A few blocks away at the back of our subdivision is National Forest Area and the Upper Truckee River, with lots of trails for snowshoeing or cross country skiing in the winter, or hiking and mountain biking in the summer. Camp Richardson and Pope Beach are also just a few miles away, both with great summer activities.

Our 1400 sq. foot home is decorated in classic Tahoe decor. Downstairs you will find the living room with gas fireplace, a flat screen TV and DVD player, fully equipped kitchen with gas range and granite countertops, the family room with a futon and sofa, and one bedroom with attached bath. Upstairs are the other two bedrooms, and one bathroom. All bed and bath linens are provided, and there is a full size washer and dryer. We have WiFi for those of you who need to stay connected, as well as an iPod / iPhone/ CD Player stereo system. Plenty of books, board games, and movies too!

There is an oversized single car garage, and a separate driveway. Parking is limited to 2 cars in the winter, and 3 cars the rest of the year. We have a plow service keep the driveways clear for worry-free access in the winter.

Our beautiful fully fenced backyard has a large gas BBQ, patio heater, and plenty of seating for our nice Tahoe summers. We've got a cooler, beach chairs, and beach towels for our guests - great for spending your day at the beach. (BBQ/patio heater and patio furniture not available in winter months)

This is a beautifully maintained home, comfy and cozy, yet able to accommodate a large group. Everything one could want is at your fingertips: a great kitchen, privacy for those who want it, a large yard with room for kids to play and adults to grill. This home is convenient to all south shore activities for every season. The owners were very helpful. A really lovely place.

Ski Weekend Retreat

While looking for a base for a ski weekend, my two college buddies and I settled on this cabin in South Lake Tahoe. Although it was our first time working with VRBO, we could not have been more pleased with the outcome. The home is comfortable and welcoming with a nice living area and a great kitchen. The single car garage provided us with secure storage. Internet service kept those of us who were compelled to work connected. The home is only a few miles from Heavenly and was only a half hour drive from Kirkwood.

The rental process was easy and working with the owner was a delight. I would highly recommend this home for a family or small group of friends looking for a quiet get away.

We appreciated how clean this home was. Very family friendly, affordable and perfectly located.
The owners were very easy to work with and helpful by phone and email.
I strongly recommend this rental for no more than 6 guests to sleep comfortably in the bedrooms. The other sleeper is adjacent to the kitchen and although that extra space is great for entertaining, may not work well for privacy at bedtime.
Overall, a great home, nice location, would rent again!

We Had Such a GOOD Time!

This home was perfect for 2 small families to share over a weekend. We were just sorry we hadn't booked a week. Everything was exactly as described in the listing. Very clean, very comfortable. The gas fireplace was wonderful to sit in front of in the evenings with a glass of wine. The kitchen beautiful and well stocked with some extras you might need. Even had a garlic press! Access to Heavenly skiing was very easy. The futon downstairs is tucked nicely away in the family room so that my tired son was able to go to sleep, while we all stayed up and watched a movie in the living room.

Since it wasn't snowing we were able to accommodate more than 2 cars. If it is snowing, I wouldn't try to do this - because of snow removal. The neighborhood is quite densely populated with houses and cars.

We had a very lovely time - the house is a gem!
