My apartment is situated in the Regal and Historical area of London's St James's Park and is one of only a handful of private residences close to the Palaces & Parks. I will do everything possible to ensure you enjoy your stay in London and leave with many happy memories - Marc
Marc & Lizzy purchased this apartment in 2010
Location, Location, Location. My apartment is in the heart of this wonderful city. This apartment is unbeatable and simply outstanding. On my doorstep is all that England has to offer and I share it with Royalty.
If you opt to venture outside Greater London, very easily accessible are
* Windsor Castle
* Hampton Court Palace
* Stratford upon Avon
We arrived Eurostar after our trip of Paris and found this lovely apartment a wonderful choice even the tea and biscuits was a site for tired eyes, many many sites right on our doorstep was amazing. With this in mind we were able to very easily and safely walk most places and the underground station is also next door to the apartment for further afield. We felt like neighbours to the queen and the prime minister.
This was our first time staying at an apt in Europe and we were a bit nervous about doing so. However everything went smoothly. The apartment was very nice and the location was superb. The staff was helpful and responsive to our every need. We could not have asked for a better experience and hopefully will return again to stay at this apt in the near future. The apartment was convenient to everything a tourist could need or ask for; tube, bus lines, wide variety of eating choices all within easy walking. Plus have St James so close for a morning stroll could not be beat. Loved our stay!
The Buckingham flat fit our needs perfectly. The flat was clean, close to everything that we wanted to see (we were able to walk to most places) including Westminster, Buckingham, the Eye, Big Ben, numerous parks, and close to a tube station for when things were to far to walk to and the owners were very helpful. The small touches like a phone charger, mobile phones for use to use, and maps and guide books really made a difference. Right across from the flat was where the palace guards in full regalia practice (including the band), what a treat! The flat is close to small stores and cafes and there is a refrigerator so you can stock up if you want to. Having a washer and dryer in the flat was a benefit especially since we had just finished a week-long tour of Europe and this allowed us the ability to pack lightly. Finally, this is the first time I had rented an apartment but found the process to be safe and easy and don't think I'll go back to a hotel if I can help it.
We' ve spent 3 days in London and this apartment has been a very good option: clean, functional and really well located and communicated .
We do recommend it.
We spent a wonderful weekend in this modern, light filled apartment. Highly recommend! We walked everywhere, just returned from a hot breakfast at the Regency Cafe! Starbucks right across the street- Marc is very helpful.
This apartment is in an excellent location to tour the city! We used the St. James Tube station everyday to travel throughout the city. It was a very quick 2 min walk. The apartment was clean with new towels and linens. The sleeper sofa was perfect for our 7 year old, and the beds were quite comfortable for my husband and myself. Marc was so helpful with tour and restaurant suggestions. It was also a nice special treat to find the apartment stocked with milk, juice and biscuits. After a long day of travel it was nice not to have to go out for breakfast food the 1st day. We walked to many nice restaurants, Westminster/Big Ben, St. James Park, Hyde Park, the British Museum Church Hill's Museum and many other attractions! I would stay here again.
Great time staying in the apartment. Location wonderful, gave helpful information and clear directions on getting into the apartment as we had a midnight arrival. All went extremely smooth. Also, was very, very pleased on how CLEAN everything was. As a self proclaimed "clean-nut" this was the most important aspect for me. My family loved the location and the Starbucks and convenience store nearby. Apartment was as described. Marc and Lizzy did a wonderful job in response times. Would definitely stay here again because close to many locations, easy tube access, and clean. Really appreciate it!
