The exposure is northern. There is no building in front, and the three windows provide a romantic view on Paris roofs.
The living room is in its original style, with oak wooden floor and exposed beams. It includes a table and a coffee table with chairs and arm-chairs, a TV set with DVD player, and lots of storage room. The 160 cm wide bed, in front of the TV, is not a sofa-bed but a quite comfortable classic bed for two persons.
A short corridor leads to separate toilets and to the kitchen/bathroom..

Location: The studio location (10 place Saint Sulpice) is exceptional, on the left bank between the river Seine and Luxembourg gardens, almost at the center of Paris. The highest number of bus lines cross in this area and split into every directions : within a hundred meters distance, ten bus lines are accessible to go to any place of interest in Paris. Subway stations of two different lines are also less than two hundred meters distance.
Environment: The house is in the heart of the district that is the most demanded in Paris, close to Saint-Germain-des-Pres and Luxembourg gardens. Around is a network of small and picturesque historical streets adjacent to the well-known Boulevard Saint-Germain, with antique shops and galleries, top fashion shops (Saint-Laurent is in the next building), lots of restaurants and fashion cafes. All Parisians flock into this area on Saturdays and holidays.
All stores needed for daily conveniences, traditional as well as luxurious, are in the close neighborhood (accessible on foot).
Building: The building is a small family house built up two hundred years ago, with exposed beams, oak parquets, original fireplaces ; it has always been maintained and soberly modernized in the respect of its character (a lift has been installed only in 2002).
