This home was perfect for our daughter's wedding weekend. The accommodations were wonderful and the perfect backdrop for photos of the bride and her bridesmaids! The home was clean, spacious, and comfortable for everyone. The location is perfect for any event in Charlottesville and I highly recommend it!

This house is everything it's described to be by the owner and more! Everything is perfect in the house, it has amazing bathrooms, a great kitchen and a perfect location.

We used this as the Groom and Groomsmen house for my wedding and it worked well for the couples who stayed there and the owners are more than accommodating in a variety of manners.

I would recommend this house to anyone without a doubt - everyone raved about the house.

Thanks for having a great house for a great weekend!

Absolutely Perfect!!!

This beautiful home was the perfect spot for our family/friend reunion over Homecomings Weekend 2011! It was more than we expected! The pictures do not do justice to the beauty and detail that Lindsay and Joe have brought to this home! Everything is beautifully maintained, beds are incredibly comfortable, bathrooms are gorgeous, and the kitchen is pristine and well stocked with everything we could have possibly needed including olive oil, spices etc. Pool table made possible a 2 generation Cavalier dual!! What an added bonus!! Loved the location so close to the walking mall. Great restaurants, and shops. Our young adults took advantage of the free shuttle a few times and said it was great! Quick and easy to get to the Grounds, dorms, Rotunda, Corner etc. In all, it was just perfect!! I will and have recommended this property to friends!! We have already tried to book for Thanksgiving...but some lucky family beat us to it!! Lindsay and Joe, Thank you, again!!!

Perfect Place for a Three-Generation Reunion

My husband and I booked "Downtown Luxury" as a place to stay when we, our daughters, and our grandchildren gathered to attend our niece's wedding. We could not have found a better place. Joe and Lindsay have perfectly restored and decorated this beautiful home, and you're comfortable from the moment you walk in. Features we liked best were the great room and gourmet kitchen, the perfect place for us to enjoy each other's company and then to have a Saturday brunch for our extended family. There are wonderfully adequate dishes, flatware, cooking untensils -- everything you need. The photos on the site are wonderful, but the house is even more beautiful; and it is spotlessly clean. It was a litte farther from the campus area than I thought it would be, but the poor weather when we were then meant that we weren't' going to be walking anyway! Joe and Lindsay are wonderully trusting and non-intrusive -- you just send them the deposit, the final payment, pick up the keys at the described location, and the place is yours; you never even see them, and somehow that adds to the feeling that you're home. Thanks for a great stay!
