Our Historic, vacation home is located on the bay in Historic St. Augustine and has it's own private dock, with a view of the Famous Lions Bridge built in 1927 and is currently being restored. This home is a charming three bedroom, 1 1/2 bath. It is located within walking distance to downtown St. Augustine where you can take a stroll down St. George and King Streets, to dine or do some shopping.
Having been built in 1892 this house underwent complete renovation in 2001, the charm is intact and the interior a delight-it is the best of both worlds. Set back nicely from the street with a bricked circular drive offering ample parking for multiple cars or a small boat and trailer. The backyard has plenty of room for outdoor activities and family picnics.
This home is close to all the many attractions of St. Augustine. Whether you like to bike, walk, take a tour on the trolley or a romantic horse and buggy ride around the town and if you have children there is also entertainment for them as well like, Ghost tours around the town or a visit to the Famous Alligator Farm and don't forget, Disney is just a couple hours south!
Summer offers outdoor music and art festivals in the park. The Christmas season offers an experience of lights like you've never seen, in St. Augustines ' Night of lights' running from mid November through Late January. Close proximity to the Daytona 500 and The Georgia VS. Florida game. King Buster 400 Headquarters is just a shot walk or boat ride. Keep your boat here. Great place to launch kayaks.
Even though we have bought our own place you won't be getting rid of us completely because we're planning on renting your house in the future when we have people come down to visit. Your waterfront villa will be wonderful to have access to when we have visitors.
My family is from the St. Augustine/Jacksonville area and I have loved St. Augustine since I was young boy.
