|Minimum Stay||1 - 5 nights|
Ok,let me show you around.
As you fly in on the jet on the right side of the plane when they tell you to fasten your seat belt, Look out the window and you will see my home. It's right there.
Ok, I have all of the stuff you will need. Yep good computer connection, Dish network tv with all the news channels etc. laundry, and all of the kitchen stuff.
There are three bedrooms, plus futon & hide a bed for four more people to sleep.
The best is the setting.
You do not have to leave the house to see the mountains, moose, and I have only seen one bear. There are eagles, rabbits, and smaller birds, and some fox,
I have all of the cool nature stuff and the home is only ten minutes to downtown.
My home is located on one of the only private airports in the Anchorage area.
It is fun to see the airplanes coming and going. It is really not noisy. There are just twenty homes on my airport and we have very little air traffic.
The best is yet to come. From my home you have access to see all of Alaska.
I have lived in Alaska for sixty years. I am a pilot, and have seen and can tell you where to go and do the things you want to do.
I have a seven passenger van, and no it is not free. It is super for groups getting around.
I can tell you where you can find any adventures you would want.
I have been a pilot for our Famous Iditarod dog sled race and have flown extensively throughout Alaska.
I fish and hunt, fly, and can give you a great deal of information on Alaska adventures to enjoy.
If I do not know something, I know someone that does.
When you stay at my wonderful home, you get a great place, but you also have my sixty years of living and doing all of the Alaska adventures.
No I have not climbed the tallest mountain in America.
I do have a great contact with a flying service that can fly you around Mt McKinley and if you want to on a land on a glacier, they will.
I also have all of the flying, hunting, fishing, touring, bird watching etc. available that you might want and can recommend some of the best tours to take.
I can and will be more than happy to share my home and I can share Alaska with you.
From a business stand point, I have been a business owner, self-employed and am well connected.
If you have business things that need to be done I can help there with business questions.
If I do not know the person or persons you need to see, I know someone who does.
Come join me, make yourself at home, have a truly Alaskan adventure.
Keywords: I am fifteen minutes from the Anchorage International Airport, three minutes from the Golf Course, five minutes the Zoo.
!!!!!SPECIAL NOTE !!!!!
My home has been free of any cats or dog or any other animals for 10 years.
Anchorage in the summer is an area that has a glacial geologic past, that can cause dust born particles, which may or may not course allergic reaction.
Efforts are continually made to maintain the accumulation of air born particles. There is not an in the home air filtration system that extracts dust from the air and and what ever dander from what ever sources that may or may not be present.
If you tend to respiratory issues, a different destination should be considered.
In all of my past guests I have only had one guest who was particularly sensitive to dust issues. There have not been animal in residents for ten years.
This home was built in 1980, and therefore should not to be considered as a home in the same category as brand new million dollar condo.
The home is maintained to reasonable commercial standards.
I have been in Anchorage,Alaska since I was age seven, I am 67, the math is easy. I grew up in a family business and went on to school, got smarter, became an insurance agent for a large national company for thirty five years, and also have a farm not far from town. I am currently traveling like you, except I travel in the winter. I am a pilot and own several planes, for all of you flying types. I have raised my four great kids, flying, fishing, hunting, hiking, skiing,(I am also a ski instructor). I have had a fantastic life's adventure growing up in Alaska. I have a wealth of knowledge to help you with your Alaska adventure. Yes my home is really a great place for you and your family and friends to come and see my wonderful State. Welcome Tony
Tony Turinsky purchased this house in 1995
I am a pilot and when you find a super home on an a private airport, within fifteen minutes of just about everything, you make it your home.
I have this wonderful place called home to share. I have all of the things you will need. But more I can enhance your stay in Alaska with my years of being an Alaskan. I have hosted many people over the years and truly enjoy sharing this wonderful place.
You will enjoy my home, and if you want help with places and things to do and see, I can help. I feel that I am one of the best parts of staying in my home. Please call and make a reservation and let's talk about Alaska. Tony
Enjoyed this house! The place was clean and comfortable. It is in a quiet neighborhood that feels very safe. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything we needed. Great house and awesome views. Thanks!
If you stay in VRBO properties you know how much more fun and comfortable they can be. That is really true with this cozy house, where instead of views if the slopes you are next to a small air strip with planes parked below and the Cook Inlet in the distance. Out back, the dining view is to the local mountain range's O'Malley Peak and Flat Too. The furnishings are very relaxed and reflect the pilot owner's love of all things about flight! Don't stay in a Hotel or condo when you can stay here. And by the way if you come in the summer it's a short drive or brisk walk to Anchorage GC.
I found the house to be very clean and loved. The views are amazing, it feels like you can see forever. Very nice neighborhood. The house is located on a private airstrip which is exciting to see the planes come and go. (not noisy at all) Truly an Alaskan lodge feeling to this house.
it is convenient and close, with amazing views. However, the home is dirty, unmaintained and unlivable for anyone that has the slightest allergy to animal dander or dust.
Anchorage is the largest city in Alaska. It is an All American city.
The activities are many. Sight seeing, Museums, flight seeing, fishing, lots of shopping, and great places to dine.
