While being Argentinean it was my child's dream to visit Punta del Este!!! Now living in New York City I am always thinking of South America not only as my childhood memories, but also as my favorite destination for winter retreat. My friend is from Uruguay at the time suggested to buy this beautiful two bedroom apartment at Yoo Punta del Este Building designed by Philippe Stark. Knowing that Punta frequently called St. Tropez of South America an having famous designer aboard we knew that we can't go wrong. It has an international mix of cultures, art galleries, concerts, fashion shows and miles of white sand beaches. As a holiday resort the area caters to a high standard of traveler with many upscale boutiques and world class restaurants at the South American prices. You will spend your days on the beach with a good book, then will venture late, late at night as the locals do to sample the wines of Argentina, Chile and Uruguay along with the world renown beef of the area. Clubs stay open until dawn and then it's back to the beach. The life style is like no other and a welcome relief from North American and European winters.
