Great multi-generational destination

If you are looking to have a large group under one roof with plenty of space, your search has ended. And this house is right on the ocean!!
I have rented numerous homes for my extended family over the years. It is always a challenge outfitting the needs of 17 people with a 72 year age span. I was thrilled to happen upon this Plum Island rental for a week in August 2012. It provided everything my family needed and so much more: ocean frontage and endless water views, wide-open dining and living areas, roomy bedrooms with plenty of mattresses, and - the icing on the cake - an elevator for my elderly mom.
Our three generations had an outstanding vacation in these deluxe accommodations. We were gathered for a family wedding in Boston and this location was ideal for 45 minute trips back and forth to the city. During the week, we played on the beach, shopped in Newbury Port, hit the farmer's market, boogie boarded at Hampton Beach, checked off some college campus visits, and ended most days with family dinners on the property's huge deck. Heaven.
The owner, Dave, made the booking and stay seamless, beginning-to-end. He was as accessible as we wanted him to be during our visit. The house - which is better in person than in photos - was clean and completely stocked for every need. I would highly recommend this vacation rental.

They've been renting large beach houses for their family of 17 for many years and really know the market. I was extremely glad to hear how much they liked my home and I hope their vacation plans (with no family weddings elsewhere) will allow them to come back soon!
One comment they made that I'd like to relate concerned the Olympics. They said their week here was one they will never forget partially due to the fact that they re-arranged couches (with my help) in the Living Room so that the whole family could watch the Olympics every night on the 70" HDTV. So if you're coming some time other than August 2016, consider hanging out as a family for a movie or a baseball game or a family dance competition to Kinect/Xbox!
