This fantastic property is located close to everything, restaurants, casinos and beaches, yet you feel miles away. Your backyard boast beautiful forest land and offers tons of privacy, your dead end street means safety and quietness. We offer tons of amenities to make your vacation a stress free relaxing time. So much to do at the cabin you will never hear 'I'm bored,' pool table, poker, foosball, full cable, badminton, horse shoes, bikes, fishing poles, sleds, spa, hammock village, games, books, arts. We have tried to leave nothing out. Plenty of space for your whole family or large group. Everyone has their own bathroom, TV and space. In cabin massage available, great rates. Come check us out, you will never want to leave the 'Tall Tree Lodge'

Front Of The Property: Enjoy the views from the front deck or stroll down to the Gazebo and have breakfast while listening to the year around brook. The view is a beautiful forest. Kick back in hammock village, relax with a book, or listen to the sounds around you. We just added an awesome new sitting area to the front with fire pit.

The Back Yard: The back yard is forest, plenty of room for horse shoes, badminton, bag-o, or just explore the area. Don't forget to go to the top of the hill, my favorite place to hang out. Be ready with your campfire songs and appetite for smores, great fire pit awaits you.

The Property: We bought this wonderful cabin in May, and have made many improvements. We have painted, added new furniture, new linen, and many amenities were added. New kitchen items, service for 20+, choice of two BBQs gas or charcoal, outdoor seating, spa, and so much more.

Tall Tree Lodge 'Close to Everything, but Away from it all... we located at the end of a dead end street, which means no traffic. Backed by forrest land, you would never know that you are so close to everything, the beach, casinos and so much more. The only noise you will hear is the sound of your year around babbling brook, the whistling of the trees and the chatter of the animal. You are .06 miles from the California entrance at Heavenly, little less than 1 mile from the beach and casinos. So come relax and enjoy everything Tahoe and the 'Tall Tree Lodge' has to offer.

Golf: One mile from the famous Edgewood golf course, or you can use the public golf course.

Ski: We are right around the corner from the California entrance to Heavenly Valley, .06 miles. You can ski back to the cabin an good snow days. 15 miles from Sierra Ski Ranch. Other nearby ski resorts are Homewood, Alpine, Squaw, Rose mountain.

We provide your first night dinner, very helpful if you arrive too late to go to the store, which is very close. When you make your reservation let us know if you like Red or White wine or perhaps juice.
    New heated steps, 2 fire pit areas, and additional creative seating added.

Isolated Feel but Quick Walk to the Mountain

Leading up to the trip the owners were great to deal with and made planning for our trip easy. Upon arrival the house was clean, in a good location and had all the amenities we needed. The large dinning room table was great for our large group to have 'family dinner' and play games. The hot tub on the porch was ideal for after a day on the mountain and was a quick trip from the lodge. We would recommend the house to others looking to stay near the Cal lodge.

stayed here with my cousins, and had a great time skiing during the day, and going out in south lake tahoe at night. the hot tub was great, as was the fireplace.

Great stay!!!

Me and a group of 14 friends recently stayed at Tall Tree Lodge for our yearly ski trip. The location was awesome, it was walking distance to the California Base at Heavenly and had a grocery store, restaurants and other places right down the street. The place was more than comfortable for all of us and looked just like the photos. It was such a beautiful Cabin and such a joy to stay in. When we got there the place was cleaned and ready for us. The owners had dinner for us for the first night we arrived. The owners were very nice and extremely helpful. Ever ytime we had questions the owners were available through phone or email to answer them right away and help us out. We would definitely recommend this place to others. We loved it. It was just wonderful!

Spectacular House and Location!!

Booked the Tall Tree Lodge for a family reunion and could not have been more satisfied. Wendy and Erik (the owners) were fantastic to work with and communication between us was efficient and stress free. For large parties, such as the one I had, the house is great. We had a large party but did not feel cramped as there was plenty of space to spread out - whether that be in the guest house in front (with a pool table), the main house itself or the spacious backyard. The house is ideally located at the end of a dead end street and, as I mentioned, the backyard is a great place to spread out, play games etc. The other bonus of the backyard is the privacy. There are no homes directly behind the house and the neighbors are far enough way where we were able to sit out on the deck quite late and not have to worry about noise. A few of us were interested in gambling and the casinos at South Shore - about a $12 cab ride one way. Overall, a fantastic house that I would highly recommend.
