The internet doesn't do this cottage justice...what a relaxing and peaceful place to steal away for a week. I couldn't wait to get up in the morning to have coffee on the deck. Aside from the amazing views, the fishing village around the corner was fascinating for our children. Make sure you visit Thunder Cove Beach (just a few km away), the water was warm and the beach goes on forever....the golf wasn't bad either.
My wife Shelly and I bought our dream house in PEI in 2005. We enjoy making memories in PEI with our three children and would like to share our beach house with you.
After spending our honeymoon in the Maritimes and a golf get-away in PEI, my wife and I had to own our dream home in a place where the only thing nicer than the ocean scenery was the people. We have never regretted making PEI our home away from home, as it has all the simple pleasures that we look for in a family escape.
An ideal day at Ocean Edge would be breakfast on the deck with the sun glistening off the water, while watching the lobster boats come and go. Followed by a walk on our sandy beach, a ride in the sea kayak, a round of golf, a long bike ride or a snuggle with a good book. Later, a seafood dinner and home in time to watch the sunset over the water from our second floor 'lookout' with the sound of the waves in the background.
