The unique town of Tarpon Springs, with it's winding roads and bayous, offer a variety of restaurants, antique shops, a historic district and frequent art shows. Outdoor activities include boating, golfing, fishing, shelling and biking. Tour the historic Famous Sponge Docks and sample authentic Greek food, go in and out of the many small shops and bakeries or watch the fishermen on their boats. Visit the small aquarium or take a ride on a tour boat to view the dolphins leaping in the Gulf or a romantic Sunset Cruise.
Florida is known as the vacationland of the country with its many attractions. You will be within an easy drive to Busch Gardens, the Florida Aquarium in Tampa, Raymond James Stadium where the Bucs play and many other world class attractions. The Tampa area is host to spring training for major league baseball teams including the Yankees and the Phillies.
