SUMMER IS COMING, DON'T MISS OUT!

Punta Banda is a perfect family beach area; the beach is shallow for quite a way, the waves are gentle and occasionally even offer something for surfers. Our family has enjoyed vacations here for years and we hope other families can have the same experience. But, this is not just a 'family' house, it's a great place for that reconnection weekend you and your significant other have talked about for ages, it's a fun house to entertain friends, great for house parties (notice, we did not say 'drunken brawls') and it's the perfect place to visit alone when you're stressed out from the normal world. We can feel cares slipping away as we cross the border.

We love ending the day with a glass of wine on one of the two the decks overlooking the ocean, going out early in the morning to watch the sunrise over the estuary, bike riding along the beach and watching people just kicking back and enjoying life. The fireplace provides a cozy spot on cooler days, and big glass doors open to allow breezes to flow through on warmer days. The beach is perfect for our grandchildren, who are now ages 4 months to 23 years -- hard to beat that! Dolphins in the evenings, pelicans all day, sea gulls scrapping overhead, little skittering birds along the water all provide entertainment. For some world class meals, Ensenada is close by. Local restaurants come and go and some are perfect for a day after the beach. They currently offer everything from good Mexican food to pizza to fish so fresh that it smiles up at you. If you want to do nothing, there are movies to watch on the DVD player, books galore to read in the 'library' aka the bunk room, and lots of places for navel gazing and contemplation! We are available anytime should you need information or a fast repair or toilet paper or whatever.
