Our duplex has 2 units of 2200 sq feet each: A 4 Bedroom/3 Bath Unit and a 3 Bedroom/3 Bath Unit.
4 Bedroom/3 Bath Unit
Our spacious 4 BR 3 BA unit (2200+ sq feet) is ideal for your family or for a group of friends.
Our property is set up with 4 Bedrooms. The Master Bedroom 1 has 1 king and 1 single bed with attached bath. The second bedroom (The Green Room) has a Queen Bed. The third bedroom (The Red Room) has a King Bed. The fourth bedroom (The Blue Room) has a Queen bed. The fourth bedroom is located on the ground floor.
The living room is set up with Sofa and Loveseat and 50 inch flat screen TV. Ample parking available onstreet with 1-2 off street spots. Fully equipped large kitchen newly renovated with granite countertops and a moveable granite island. The kitchen is equipped with gas stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, clothes washer/dryer, refridgerator/freezer with icemaker.
The 4 bedroom unit typically rents for about $100 more per night than the 3 bedroom unit (depending on dates).
3 Bedroom/3 Bath Unit
Our 3 BR/3 BA unit is set up similarly to our 4 bedroom unit.
Used primarily as a family home, it is set up with 2 King size beds, 1 Queen, 1 Full and 2 Single beds all with 15 foot ceilings and hard wood floors/porcelain tile throughout. There are 2 separate desks for all your business needs with WiFi high speed internet available.
Downstairs the living room is set up with 2 large leather sofas with a 50 inch flat screen TV to enjoy the big game. Ample parking available (and 1 off street spot). The large kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances. Gas stove & oven, microwave, coffee-maker, toaster, refrigerator/freezer and stand alone ice maker are at your disposal to cook anything from a simple breakfast to a Thanksgiving dinner.
The laundry room is equipped with Samsung front load washer/dryer for your convenience. A clothes iron and iron board are also available.
The 3rd full bathroom (located downstairs) is recently renovated--please see the pictures.
Dining room can be set up with an air bed additionally. (The kitchen table folds and a queen air bed can be set up there).
There is also a FULL BATHROOM DOWNSTAIRS.
ADDITIONAL PROPERTY--We have an additional property 4 Bedroom 3 Bath available as well.
Location, Location, Location--We are located 3 blocks from beautiful St Charles Avenue between Jefferson Ave. and State Street.
Located 3 blocks from the Street Car lines with access to downtown, Garden District, Uptown and Warehouse District. Less than 5 min by car from the shopping & restaurants on Magazine Street, Golf at Audubon Park, The Audubon Zoo, The Prytania Movie Theatre, Whole Foods Grocery Store.
Nightlife--Walking distance to many Uptown bars- Monkey Hill, The Columns Bar, Fat Harry's, Friar Tucks, Brunos, and via street car the French Quarter with the many bars of Bourbon street. You can walk, grab a cab, or jump on the street car so that you may enjoy a night out without the hassle of driving/parking. A cab home is also a reasonably priced option at $10-15.
SAFE NEIGHBORHOOD-We are located in an exceptionally safe neighborhood and are in the Hurstville Security District.

We are so close to the street car, making Bourbon street nightlife accessible, but yet not inescapable. This location is perfect for us, being between Audubon park, the Magazine street area and Downtown. We can get a taste of every aspect of the city that make New Orleans so special : restaurants, music, shopping, attractions.
Hello Perrine and Christopher....We had such a great time in your house last week! The Norwegian girls were so impressed with New Orleans and made the most of every minute...jogging, a picnic in the park, shopping, and, of course, eating and music!
We were all impressed with the decor of your house...and think that was Perrine's doing. And thank you for the wine....such a nice gesture.
Hopefully, we can return next year...at least some of us. Being 91, I can't plan too far ahead!

We just completed a weekend stay for a college reunion of sorts. The 3 bedroom unit was just what we needed. A quiet neighborhood that's close enough to the fun New Orleans provides. There are things close enough to walk to including the streetcar or a great burger place about half a mile a way. With 8 beds can easily sleep a good size group. Chris was responsive and fair, I would for sure stay here again.
My family came in for my wedding. Nine of them stayed here comfortably. It was a great help to have the use of a kitchen and laundry room for the whole week. A Brita water filter would have been helpful. Other than that, we had an issue with the door lock mechanism and the wifi which were fixed promptly upon contacting Chris. It's a very comfortable and practical spot within walking distance of Audubon Park and the St Charles streetcar.
Enjoyed my 1 month stay at the property. Would definitely recommend it to friends. Owners were attentive and great to work with.

It is located in a lovely residential area, and it's within short walking distance of a coffee shop on Freret Street. I'd highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to stay in this area. A car would make it easier to get to other parts of town, but taxis work fine as well, as we learned. Note that the second bedroom actually has a bunk bed in addition to the queen size bed, instead of the two queens shown in the photos. That didn't make any difference to us, as we were only four people, but might make a difference to a larger group.

We rented the four bedroom unit for two months while I was working in New Orleans, and we couldn't have been happier. It was a ten-minute commute to my downtown job, a two-block walk to the streetcar, and walking distance to everything else a family with three children might need: restaurants, grocery store, parks, movie theater. The neighborhood is beautiful and safe, and the house was lovely, comfortable, and well-equipped. Perrine was extremely responsive whenever we needed anything or had a question. She thoughtfully asked if we needed any special kitchen items for Thanksgiving and let me borrow a big roasting pan for the turkey - much appreciated. Highest recommendation.
