John and Kim were gracious hosts. The studio apt I stayed in was clean and the bathroom and kitchen were recently redone. The neighborhood is gentrifying and there are great little coffee shops and restaurants nearby and the local YMCA is a great place to work out or take a yoga class. The location is close to a A and C trains with good access to Manhattan, Queens and Long Island.
We had a lovely time in Brooklyn and Manhattan much thanks to the nice apartment we rented, Hankock suites. It was a beutiful place, nice and clean. Owners was very serviceminded and easy to reach. Our 17- year old said he wanted to stay fot good!

My husband and I were married in NY and try to stay in a different neighbourhood each time we go back. This time we decided to stay in Brooklyn so we could explore what it has to offer. Not only was the suite close to the subway and all the cool neighbourhoods Brooklyn has to offer, but a reasonable distance from all the sights in NY as well.
John met us at the property after we landed and let us drop off our bags and freshen up well before the normal check-in time which was much appreciated. We had a mix-up with one of our bags which hadn't arrived. The only number we could give them was John's and they phoned around MIDNIGHT to say they were coming by with our bag. He waited up for the bag and dropped it off with us in the morning. Talk about going above and beyond.
There is a delightful cafe right near the subway stop that makes crepes and serves up some amazing coffee to set off with on your adventure.
We found our stay to be very restful and appreciated the impeccable customer service John provided.
The place is very nice and clean and correspond to the description, luminous and sunny (2d floor). The brownstoned houses in the district are very nice with trees. It's very well located (10 minutes to the A line subway) especially for those who, like us, fly to JFK airport (on the A line). Then within 30 minutes you arrive anywhere in Manhattan. The owners are very nice and ready to help if necessary. We highly recommend it.
We have been in this flat for one week, the place is not so far from the subways, maybe 10 minutes of walk; the district is charming, the true spirit of Brooklyn, like we see in the movies. The house is cute and the owners John and his wife, are very availables. We were 4 guys, so the location is perfect for us, near the Barclays arena, Brooklyn bridge and other attractions. I recommend it!!!Absolutely!!
Everything was perfect and as described in the ad. The neighborhood is secure, some nights we arrived around midnight and there was no problem at all. John and his wife were very nice and helped us with everything we needed. The apartment is close to the subway station, only a 4 blocks walk, it was clean and well mantained, it had everything we needed, the air conditioning functioned perfectly. We were 5 in total and there was plenty of space for all of us. I would definitely recommend this property to stay in New York. If you want to go shopping, you can go to the mall Atlantic just 2 stops taking the subway
