BEAUTIFUL STUDIO SUITE IN BROWNSTONE BROOKLYN

Just come back to the UK after spending 2 week's at John & Kim's place.
This was the 1st time that I have used the home and away website and I was a bit unsure about the booking process and sending payment over the net. Rest assured, John always replied quickly to my emails and he made the whole booking process really simple and speedy.

The apartment was great! It was 4 of us staying, the beds are really comfy and new. There are 2 double beds so they accommodated 2 of us on each bed without any problem. There is also a sofa that can be converted into a double bed if needed.
When we arrived the apartment was spotless with fresh lining and we even got towels :)
John and his family were great host, and whenever we crossed on the hallway they always asked whether anything was needed, always with a friendly smile on their faces.
The apartment and the area where its located is quiet, being this a mainly residential area, so no concerns regarding noise.

The subway is about 10 mns away, Nostrand Av, served by A & C trains which take you straight to the airport and straight to Manhattan as well in less than 20 mns. As the NYC subway system runs 24 hours, it mean that we were able to return late at night without the need to take cabs.

There are a few supermarkets nearby and plenty of locals shops, or you can buy excellent take away food on Fulton Road on your way back from the subway.

Brooklyn is a great place to spend time and quite often overlook by the glitz of Manhattan.

I would def recommend John's apartment, excellent place and excellent value. Hopefully we are able to come back soon!

Io, il mio fidanzato e altri due amici abbiamo soggiornato presso questo appartamento per circa 9 giorni. Che dire, la magia di New York e la comodità del nostro alloggio hanno reso la vacanza indimenticabile! L'abitazione era comoda, pulita e accessoriata; forse un po' piccola per 4 persone ma a fronte del prezzo conveniente, ci si adatta facilmente! la posizione strategica per via della vicinanza alla metro raggiungibile in 10 minuti a piedi! Per non parlare della disponibilità del proprietario che ha accolto gentilmente tutte le nostre richieste e risolto i nostri dubbi. Se in futuro avrò la fortuna di trascorrere un'altra vacanza a New York, farò sicuramente riferimento a questa struttura!
