Beautiful Sunset Hale

A year ago I made a brief visit to Sunset Hale, but this year, having had that experience, reserved a ten night stay. As other reviewers have mentioned, this is an immaculate, modern, nicely appointed and thoroughly equipped bungalow located just a block from Sunset Beach and ideally situated along the “seven mile miracle.” The property is lovely and quite private, and includes, to my delight, a resident dog, cat, sheep, and goat that will pay attention to you only if you pay attention to them, and even then it’s hard to keep them entertained. The neighboring noisy rooster situation, noted by others, appears to have been eliminated since my last stay (Alia, what have you done?), and the weak WiFi issue has been completely resolved with a new router and secured network. Because of the open floor plan, high ceilings, and round-ish (strictly speaking, a dodecagon) construction, the interior has a very spacious, breezy feel. The family of owners, residing on the premises, is reliable, friendly, and always available to provide assistance and helpful suggestions. I have been visiting the North Shore each winter for many years, and am pleased to report that there is no rental that I have enjoyed more or in which I have felt more comfortable than the Sunset Hale. I surely plan to return in Decembers to come.
