Perfectly located, safe, modern apartment

We rented this lovely 2 bedroom apartment for one month upon our arrival in Mexico while we looked for a place to stay long-term. I think that it is perfectly located. It's only like 2 blocks away from the Chapultepec metro station, and beyond that there is Chapultepec park with all it's museums and green spaces. It is about a 10 or 15 minute walk to the Durango Metrobus stop, just past the lovely Cibeles fountain with all its gourmet restaurants, and pedestrian walkways all along Durango. There are also many walkways, restaurants, and shopping possibilities nearby. A couple of times we walked to Parque Mexico and Parque Espan~a. The former was especially impressive. The Osteria on Sinaloa, a block and a half away was a favorite place for us with friendly waiters and delicious, high quality Italian food. Nearby there are convenience stores, juice and tamal stands, and one can easily walk to the Superama on Montes de Oca for groceries, and the Tuesday farmers' market by the Oxxo and the Osteria.
The attractive leather couch with chaise is very comfortable and there is reliable wireless internet, as well as satellite tv and other amenities. There is a wet bar with comfortable stools, a large dining room table. The kitchen is small but has everything you need, and a granite countertop. There is a washboard and basin, which is pretty normal for mexico, and there are laundry services one can hire if you don't like that. Each of the two bedrooms had its own bathroom (one is actuall y in the hallway, so guests can use that one. Drawers and closets are ample and slide easily. There is always a doorman on duty so no one gets in the building without their knowing about it. I felt safe leaving my 11 year old daughter at home alone playing video games while I went out to run errands.
I would definitely recommend it.
