We have a beautiful home for you to rent, just minutes from CU & Downtown. It's private and quiet, with incredible views of the front range & Boulder.
It has a very open floor plan, with 2 bedrooms and a loft. There is a collection of art from around the world, including paintings from Brazil and Cuba, rugs and more from Morocco. The kitchen has an array of utensils, appliances and cooking tools, and the cupboards are generally stocked with most basics. Fully furnished, with tasteful touches like granite counters, slate & travertine flooring; walnut trim; a huge deck & hot tub.
Best of all is the view. Huge picture windows and a huge deck open out to a view of the front range from Boulder to Lyons. Toward the back you can see the famous Flatirons of Boulder. The deck features a hot tub, grill, Apricot tree and unique hand carved king size bed from Bali. There's not a better view or location in Boulder. There are no cars or people walking by.
We live here, but we're often out of town or out of the country. We have an eco-lodge in Africa (amongst other things) so we are often gone. We rent both our entire home or a private room depending on your need and our schedule.
When we are in town, we rent the private room for $95/night (less if you stay longer). We are very happy to share our space when in town.
Sometimes we have some flexibility to plan our travel dates according to rental opportunities so be sure to let us know whether you are looking for the entire house or just a room.
Please note- there is an apartment below, with it's own private (separate) entry & private space. This is rented to very quiet, respectful professionals. You'll probably never know anyone is there- the building is huge, as is the block of land. You have your own private off street parking in the driveway in front (the house is on a cul-de-sac on the top of a steep hill overlooking Boulder). Access in winter is good but AWD is helpful if roads are icy.
The bedding is first class- the best mattresses, goose down comforters, and good cotton sheets. Heating is baseboard hot water, for clean, healthy, quiet heat. In summer we have evaporative cooling which is effective and healthy.

Greg & Hillary purchased this house in 2008
It's unique; beautiful & serene, with great art & comforts. There are amazing 360 degree views of Boulder. Enjoy our hot tub and outdoor Balinese bed.
Quiet, private, luxurious & centrally located. Bikes to borrow, tea, coffee & some breakfast supplies. Great views, apple TV, carved bed on the deck, hot tub, etc.
This place was just stunning. Large, open, but very inviting. Amazing view and great launch pad for exploring Boulder. Greg was an awesome host.
The views were amazing - the patio was wonderful. Hot tub was broken when we were there which would have been nice treat - but not such a big deal. Loved the house. Problem is the neighbors below here every step you make - so if you have any intention of doing anything after 9 pm probably not a good idea to stay here. We had about 14 people hanging out drinking some beers and grilling etc - and the neigbors called the cops!! We are all in our late 30's with our kids there - and the cop said when he showed up "This is the quietest party I've ever got called to." So if you are looking for a mellow place where you don't intend to make ANY noise after 9 - place is perfect.
I can’t say enough about how wonderful this house if for a getaway. It has the feel of being on the side of the mountain but still a very short drive from great shopping and dining. The views are incredible from the hot tub to the master bedroom to the main family room. Our family of 4 stayed there for 5 days and we didn’t have one complaint. Greg and Hillary were fantastic to work with and everything went off without a hitch.
Almost perfect. Amazing views, especially in the early morning and right before sundown can be captured from basically the whole main floor through the wall of windows. Large, real, and somewhat exotic trees and a variety of cool art around are a nice touch and make the place feel homey. Kitchen was well equipped with utensils, appliances and condiments/spices. We ending up cooking at home all but one night because of how well set up the kitchen was.
Beds in bedrooms were comfortable and down comforters were a nice touch. Only one bathroom, but did not pose a problem. It was well equipped with soap/shampoo/towels. We didn't use the washer/dryer unit except to throw towels/sheets in when we left, but it was a nice unit and there was detergent and everything else needed to go with it.
One complaint: I had read the other reviews about the tenants below, but it was more of an issue than I realized. While another reviewers noise complaint supposedly came in at 12:30 am, ours came in at 10 pm. Our 'party' consisted of two shoeless people and music playing from a smart phone not at max volume. As someone who has lived in lower unit of a multi-family home, the tenants below obviously have unrealistic expectations. If you are someone who likes to stay up later in the evening and carry on, this place probably isn't for you. That said, I found the place too beautiful and otherwise well equipped to warrant knocking off a star.
We were here on a business trip, so we didn't get to do much daytime exploring, but the house location is very conveniently located to the hip downtown area of Boulder. I was wishing we had brought bikes- that seemed to be the preferred means of transportation by many of the locals and this place is a short ride from lots of fun things to do.
Owners were easy to work with. Owners were out of the country (I believe) at time of rental, but referred us to their assistant who was also very easy to work with in the event we needed anything.
The home was amazing and we thank the hosts for their hospitality. The home has amazing views of the mountains and is close to local hiking trails that we explored daily. The rental is above other tenants that are extremely cool and friendly. The tenants say they can hear footsteps despite shoes being removed and anyone renting needs to be respectful and aware that the space is loud. The bed outside was covered with a tarp and had bugs and weather stains - not usable. Overall, great stay. Ideal for couples or chill vacations.
I love Boulder and have visited regularly the last few years. I was just there in July and stayed at a hotel. I decided to come back in October on a girls trip. This time I decided to stay in a house. We were blown away at the house. It had spectacular views. It had a very cool style and super spacious. It was close to everything. But, most importantly I loved the beds. Everyone said they were super comfortable and all had down comforters. I would absolutely recommend it to others as well as stay again.
Big outdoor deck
Boulder CO is arguable one of the nicest college towns in the country.
Greg the owner is very nice and makes the booking and payment easy
We are walking distance to Chataqua park, the University, Downtown and Farmers Market. Nearby is world class rock climbing, hiking, kayaking, and biking. Most ski areas are between 30min-2hours drive.
