Cabin, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 4-5)

With spectacular views of three mountain ranges in the Shields River Valley, the cabin is a perfect place to get away from it all. Perfect for a writer's retreat, family getaway, or use as a home base to explore Montana. It's about a 20 mile drive to local skiing at Bridger Bowl, and only two miles to the small town of Clyde Park which has a country market, 2 bars, post office, hardware store, and gas station. Close to excellent fishing in the Shields or Yellowstone Rivers, and about an hour drive to Yellowstone National Park. The larger town of Livingston which has many art galleries, entertainment, fine dining, and everything else you might need is 18 miles away. We are also about an hour drive to the closest airport and 2 hours to Billings.

Conveniently located off Hwy 89 on the route between Yellowstone and Glacier Parks, the cabin is in the heart of ranch country on a gravel road, perfect for those morning walks. At night you might hear owls hooting, elk bugling and coyotes yapping, while you look up at the star filled sky!

The cabin is newly decorated with country charm throughout. One bedroom has a queen bed, and the other is a futon couch that folds to a bed. In the living area there is a single hideabed chair suitable for a smaller person. We can also accommodate with a Graco Pack and Play for baby.

If you're traveling with horses, we may be able to accommodate them also, as the cabin is located on our 2.5 acre property. There are only 2 neighbors nearby, which is ourselves and one other house.

We love living in the Shields Valley and when we purchased our home it came with a cabin. We are happy to help folks enjoy Montana and give them an option other than a motel.

Our stay at the cabin was excellent! Everything looked just like the photos. The owners were gracious and accommodating. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets, a herd of elk in the valley and a great place to walk down the gravel road. Yes, we would highly recommend this cabin for your next stay in Paradise Valley. Thank you Ric and Linda - may our musical paths cross again.

Great stay in Montana

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was clean and well kept. Loved seeing the horses in the mornings before we left for Yellowstone. Wish we had more time to enjoy the cabin but we were in the park all day everyday!

A Rare Gem in the Treasure State

This cabin is rare gem! It is impeccably maintained, and they have everything you need to set up a home-away-from-home. We enjoyed our stay very much, and recommend it without hesitation. The owner was very responsive and helpful in arranging the booking. It's about 15-20 minutes from Livingston, which worked out well for us. We spent one night there just the two of us, and were joined by additional relatives for another night -- plenty of space for us all. Thank you for sharing this lovely cabin with us!

We have really enjoyed our stay at your Montana cabin. You have provided everything we need to feel "at home".

It was fun to have the horses so close. Our granddaughter will be wanting to come back here with us!

Thank you for your advice on places to go around here-every one was great.

We hope to be able to return to this beautiful spot in Montana.

The Setting Cranked My Creative Juices!

This is the Montana I was looking for! The cabin is very comfortable and delightfully furnished. Lucy and Maddy enjoyed their chance to be Montana ranch dogs for a week. The setting also cranked my creative juices and I got some good work done on my business plan and book outline. The vistas are amazing at sunrise and sunset. I hope to be back again next year!
